Why are there three Hackspire wikis?

gives? (Note how all of them were updated at different periods of time and look different). I know that the Unsadns one went offline for 6 months once but once it came back up I discovered there were two wikis now, and now I just discovered there's a third one. That might be confusing for people who are seeking for info that isn't outdated. >.<

TI-Nspire CX being discontinued in Canada (or at least Quebec)?

It looks like that the TI-Nspire CX series has finally bit the dust in Canada, at least in brick and mortar stores in various cities. In the last three years, every Spring the Staple stores around where I live would discount the TI-Nspire CX model to $150, which, in US dollars, is even less than how it costs in USA. The regular price the first year was $195, then the second year $180 and the third year $170, despite the falling Canadian dollar. Stores would always restock again in August, when s...

I discovered another bug in TIOS some time ago. It shifts the screen up (I assume the display gets out of sync) until the calculator is turned off and on again. This simple Basic program is enough to trigger it: CLASSICDegreeSeq-47//10->Xmin47//10->Xmax1->Xscl-31//0->Ymin31//10->Ymax1->Yscl1->Xres{100}->u(nMin)"u(n-1)+.15*(80-u(n-1))"->uDispGraph The // is the thick / .

I am surprised ticalc.org still accepts those because a while ago I swear that Travis and Nikky rejected them.-I don't have enough batteries right now (my only set is in my 84+, which is used to test Reuben 3) and no emulator supports .tig files-When I extract all with TI-Connect options for the .tig file, the resulting files becomes corrupted wh...

TI re-recording emulators?

I was thinking of this the other day, as far as I know, there is no emulator yet that supports re-recording. (Well, yes, there's BizHawk, but its TI-83 emulation is very preliminary.) By re-recording, I mean, mainly being able to record input in a file to be replayed later and other tools useful for making TASes. Recording input would definitely be useful as you might even build a device that emulates a TI Keyboard and send the movie file to the calc. Wouldn't that be great?Well, that's my thoug...

This is a follow up to my topic posted on July 4th about how it was my 15th calculator programming anniversary. Today, it's now Omnimaga's turn to reach its 15th anniversary. While I and some others of us are no longer active there due to previously explained circumstances, the fact remains that Omnimaga has been around for 15 years now. Also I am still the one who created Omnimaga in the first place, back on September 1st 2001, and it slowly grew into a large discussion forum and IRC channel. P...

About Fifteen Years Ago, Part #3: Illusiat 15th anniversary

On July 4th 2016 , it has been 15 years since I started TI calculator programming, starting with the TI-83+ then eventually moving up to color Z80/ez80 and HP models, using BASIC language through my entire programming career except in 2010 and for a brief period of time in 2013. Shortly after starting programming, I began working on a bare-bones RPG with graphical dungeons but menu-based battles. Shortly after the creation of Omnimaga (which c...

The new HP Prime firmware revision 10077 was said to improve RAM usage and fix various stability issues that were present in previous firmwares.
