Making random chiptunes on the 83+/84+

Not sure if this is the right section for this (though it is a calc project), but anyways, I started messing with hardcoding stuff for mobiletunes since the midi converter was dying on my midis, and also since it gives me an opportunity to practice reading sheet music and stuff I guess (I've never really had a reason to read sheet music, so I'm really slow at it right now).Anyhow, starting off with something a few of you might know. There's not a whole lot to it right now, but I need sleep so I'...

Since my Bandcamp store is now the official CodeWalrus store (at least until we get merch and a custom store), the music promotion called "My Little Activity: Posting is Music" that has been running since June 2013 will be moving over here starting next month! Basically, this means that the price of my music will be entirely based on how many posts that have been made on CW forums the month before. [url=http://...

Copyrights when trying to get your songs taken down years after you uploaded it?

Ok, so I was wondering something:Let's say that several years ago, I decided to upload my own music on a certain website, back when I offered every song for free. Then a few years later, I decide to start charging money for my work then upload most of it on Bandcamp, but forgot to get it copyrighted with official agencies for whatever reason. For a while, they were on iTunes, which could provide some proof, but unfortunately it isn't the case anymore as I could no longer afford to keep them ther...

Two songs (and some unfinished work) I never posted here

Since I lack an album artwork for my stalled 32 bit power metal album started months ago, I never posted the two following songs on Bandcamp. I believe I posted the RN links on Omnimaga but I never really did it here. A few months ago I released the song Destination 1999 A.D, inspired heavily from F-Zero X (N64) music, most notably the Silence track. I had that idea in my head since playing the game but never thought about putting it into an actual song because it would have been too short. Howe...

A theme song made from random numbers (changed to make it tonal :P )

Click here to see a theme song for something I plan to do. It's for a series called "Glitch Busters".This song was actually made by a TI-84+ calculator: I entered randInt(1,7) and kept pressing ENTER. The numbers it gave me corresponded to do, re, mi, fa, so, la, and ti on the solfege scale (basically, notes 1 through 7 on a key). I chose the key of the song and made some minor changes to the music so it didn't sound all discordant and random. I also added a m...

I was browsing on YouTube, and found a perfectly clean studio quality acapella of the Justin Timberlake hit "Suit & Tie", and I noticed that it had pretty nice harmonies on the chorus by Justin. Rocking bassline, too. Yeah, JT, hit those low notes I thought to myself "Hey, what if I could have him singing those epic harmonies with himself...while he sings the song on top of it?" Sabaton 40:1 - Semi 16-bits or semi-SNES style music

song is not by me, but rather a MIDI file of the song 40:1 by Sabaton that I found somewhere. I edited in audacity two years ago so that it sounds closer to Super Nintendo material, using a similar echo effect among other things. Granted, it's not real SNES music, but I thought it sounded similar to some upbeat music on that console, so I thought I would share it since I thought the result sounded kinda cool.
