We are pleased to announce that CodeWalrus and TI-Planet have become affiliates. Basically, at the bottom of every CW forum page, as well as on the portal below the latest activity list, you will see a classic 88x31 button leading to TI-Planet (right next to Planète-Casio and MLP Quebec buttons). On TI-Planet, you will see the a banner leading to CodeWalrus. Through the partnership rules that were discussed, both websites will remain independent from each others, while still promoting each others via this banner exchange and getting CW and TI-Planet closer to each others. Unlike previous affiliations elsewhere in the TI community in the past, news privileges for CodeWalrus members remain unchanged by this affiliation, as everyone with at least 20 posts could already submit topics for front-page news approval, via the "Add to articles" button on topic view.

Open since September 2011,TI-Planet allowed the French TI community to continue thriving and is by far the largest francophone TI forum and has a large program archives. It has a large focus on France education and educational tools overall, while also providing news about the latest TI community breakthroughs, especially with the TI-84 Plus CE and TI-Nspire CX. They are also affiliated with TI-France and Planète-Casio.

I highly approve of this. May the TI community prosper!

We're glad to have made it more official than it was (crosspostings and such had already happened...) :)

Of course keep in mind that the affiliation doesn't force you guys to cross-post, though, but hopefully both places are closer to each others, which could help with the fact that some people don't understand English and others don't understand French much.
