Make a story, four words at a time

So the goal of this topic is to write a story, 4 words at a time, post by post. Basically, I write the first four words, then the next poster writes the next four, and so on. Once the story gets long enough, we might or might not end it then put the final result into 1 post (possibly the first).

So here I go with the classic start:
