Not sure if this is the right section for this (though it is a calc project), but anyways, I started messing with hardcoding stuff for mobiletunes since the midi converter was dying on my midis, and also since it gives me an opportunity to practice reading sheet music and stuff I guess (I've never really had a reason to read sheet music, so I'm really slow at it right now).

Anyhow, starting off with something a few of you might know. There's not a whole lot to it right now, but I need sleep so I'll have to work on it later.

Who knows, maybe some day I'll actually create my own original composition. I'm having fun just converting existing music right now though, so gonna stick with it.

Keoni29 did trackers and Utz on Omnimaga as well, but I don't think anyone there did Mobiletunes stuff. I like Mobiletunes because some songs were cool. I think if you hard-code them it would sound even better because it allows you to create perfect MT files.

The result is quite nice by the way. :D

That's sweet! Good job. Do you think you'll make a tracker for mobiletunes?
Well, I'm bach here too!

While it's calc stuff I think it belongs in the music showcase section since you're not actually writing the tracker/player.

It does sound really nice btw. :)

Actually, now that it's been mentioned I'm seriously considering switching to writing like a synthesia type display (notes fall down and whatever) :P. I think I can fit 5 octaves on screen, maybe a bit more. Not sure why I didn't think of it last night actually... has anyone made one of those on the calc?

Nope I don't think it was done except for the countless Guitar Hero clones which don't feature sound. :P

I don't think it exists yet. The highest I saw IIRC was 3 channels plus 1 extra channel for drums.

What would be nice, however, is a sound routine and Axiom for enhanced game audio. I bet Keoni29 would like it. :P
