I know this will most likely not get finished due to possible C&D from Nintendo if they notice, but this makes me think it would be awesome if Nintendo decided to do an HD remake of Super Mario 64 for the Wii U.

Two things
- "Possible C&D"? More like " place your bets on when they'll get a C&D"
- Unity is the more or less official wiiu SDK.

The first time I ran it on Windows it didn't work either, but updating Unity Player fixed it.

As for copyrights they could always change the characters, music and parts of the map, then reuse the engine for something else.
