So um. Akatsuki (my desktop) :
i7 3770k (with a coolermaster hyper 612s, which is good enough to handle 3.9GHz turbo but I'll have to upgrade to watercooling if I of, already tried to but I eventually noticed that it ends up throttling under load).
16GB pc3-14900 ram
Asus p8z77-v pro
AMD 7970 GHz edition (sapphire board with a dual x cooler)
Akasa cobra 750w modular PSU (cable management ftw)
Zalman z11 plus case
HDD is a Seagate barracuda 2TB/7200 rpm

It's weak spots are cooling and storage for now. I need to upgrade eventually (and also get myself a sound card because my Intel HD onboard soundcard is semi broken). I don't really need to overclock for now though and I make up for the "slowness" of an HDD (175MB/s raw read speed lol) by finding software workarounds. Besides, Linux's filesystem caching makes it really fast with my 16GB ram once everything has settled.

As for other electronics I have a nexus 4 (might get a oneplus one tho), a nexus 7 (2012), an old iPod touch, a raspberry pi b (r2), a GameCube. And my calcs that are listed in my signature. :P
If possible you should avoid overclocking until you fixed the cooling problem. Otherwise it will be closer to overcooking than overclocking. :P

I might get an opo invite in the next days to come.

I'm super jelly. (I can't afford one, otherwise I'd probably already have one)

Streetwalrus

Lol DJ. It's not really a problem per se, more like I need to upgrade my cooler if I wanna overclock. With the stock cooler turbo mode probably wouldn't turn on at all lol.

CKH4

I just bought a Corsair H60, I'll let you know how it does when I finish my build. It may be a month because I'm saving for the GTX970.

Streetwalrus

Thanks. If I wanna reach 5GHz I might want a 2x140mm radiator though. Biggest that fits in my case. Besides I want to upgrade storage first.

TI83, TI84, TI84+, TI84+CSE, TI89 Titanium
TI84 ? That doesn't exist, or I missed something ;)

Shhh pretend I just said  TI-83+ there are too many similar names, I get them mixed up sometimes.to be more specific I have 3 TI-84+'s and 2 TI-83's (one of which I tried overclocking the cpu and failed. The cpu is indeed 2.5 times faster but the LCD doesn't seem to like it.so I imaging I messed something up somewhere)

With TI-France, it's only a matter of time before the TI-84 becomes a thing. They might even release three different calcs under that name over the next decade O.O. TI-France is really weird since the last decade when it comes to calc names:

North America France
TI-83TI-82 Stats.Fr
TI-83 PlusTI-82 Plus
TI-84 PlusTI-84 Pocket.Fr
TI-84 Plus Silver EditionTI-83 Plus.Fr USB
TI-84 Plus CETI-83 Premium CE

Of course, the last one is slightly different than the 84+CE but still...

Also, what's funny is how in 2000 TI discontinued the TI-83, yet in 2004 they decide to re-introduce it (as the TI-82 Stats). The exact same thing happened with the current TI-83 Plus.Fr (the 84+SE was discontinued in 2010 in France then re-introduced in 2013 as that new calc) It would be funny if we went through a recession and TI decided to re-introduce the TI-81 as budget calc O.O

Snektron

That actually doesnt make any sense  ???

TI-84 Plus Silver EditionTI-83 Plus.Fr USB

Implies that TI-84 Plus doesn't have an USB?
I don't get french people >.<

DJ Omnimaga

It's because TI discontinued the TI-84+ and TI-84 Pocket.Fr when they released the second TI-83 Plus.Fr. The weirdest part is that during that time, the TI-84+/Pocket.Fr were actually more expensive than the TI-83 Plus.FR USB. Also until 2013 there used to be another TI-83 Plus.Fr which was a real TI-83 Plus, so I bet some people got confused about which one to choose.

Snektron

I know im confused  ???

France used Weird TI names,  Snektron is now confused!

Well, to be honest, France has a long of history of renaming stuff, often for no reasons, especially anime and cartoons. Quebec isn't any better with movies, though (Naked Gun series, anyone?). :P The issue with TI models, though, is that those models were previously released under their original names in France in the 90's and early 2000's before finally being pulled from the market then re-released under a new name. Because of that, people are even more confused now.

As for other TI issues, just the many BASIC speed oddities speak for themselves. For example, this, with all matrix elements equal to 1:

If [A](1,1)>0:Output(1,1+B,Str1
If [A](1,2)>0:Output(1,2+B,Str1
If [A](1,3)>0:Output(1,3+B,Str1
If [A](1,4)>0:Output(1,4+B,Str1
If [A](2,1)>0:Output(2,1+B,Str1
If [A](2,2)>0:Output(2,2+B,Str1
If [A](2,3)>0:Output(2,3+B,Str1
If [A](2,4)>0:Output(2,4+B,Str1
If [A](3,1)>0:Output(3,1+B,Str1
If [A](3,2)>0:Output(3,2+B,Str1
If [A](3,3)>0:Output(3,3+B,Str1
If [A](3,4)>0:Output(3,4+B,Str1

Runs about twice faster than this:
For(A,1,3)
For(C,1,4)
If [A](A,C)>0:Output(A,C+B,Str1
End
End

So basically, in TI-BASIC, to get the highest possible speed, you sometimes have to sacrify considerable amounts of space.
