Cool to see MoneyWalrus revived. :)

Yeah, I'm currently trying to find time to set up the battling, I need to get a few sprites set up. Anyways, I'm hoping that NAGOJI will be accepted at ticalc.org and cemetech

It should be up soon I think, unless something is missing such as credits or some files, or if something isn't right, such as a screenshot being overly large.
u/Unicorn September 16, 2015, 04:48:56 PM
Its actually a good thing, I just noticed that you couldn't jump or anything and still win.
u/Dream of Omnimaga September 17, 2015, 04:08:55 PM
Oh right, that's bad :P. Hopefully you can find out the issue, though. I'm still debating about making a TI-84+CE (textlib) version. I could probably make a pure-BASIC one too for the CE, but it would only use light gray and white as colors.

Besides that, I had an RPG idea involving maths, but it would definitively be simpler in gameplay than FF:MF, as in the fact it would probably only have like 2 attack moves.

Updated plans for 2015:
-Due to health issues resulting from stress that built up over the last month or so (mainly the recent drama and work), I pretty much had to scrap all my plans for the year 2015 (including the Summer 2015 CW newsletter) and I also had to step down from my current job, switching back to my old one. The problem is that I was exhausted from work, in addition to being stressed about my asperger syndrome (or at least what clearly looks like it) holding me back in the learning process. THe site war drama last week didn't help much either, stress-wise, so I do not have enough motivation nor energy to work on anything lately. It culminated to the point where last Thursday night, my body nearly reached something close to catatonic state for several hours, while I sat in front of the computer. So for the last month or so, most of my projects have been halted or might be halted. I am concentrating more on CW itself and hanging out for the time being.
-It is not guaranted that anything I worked on in the last few years will be finished. All will depend of motivation.

Cheers @DJ Omnimaga, stay strong mate! I'm sure things will eventually take a turn for the better again for you. In any case don't put pressure on yourself regarding your projects, you've achieved a lot for the TI community already this year, I think, and you have all the reasons to be proud of that.

My own plans for the rest of the year:

- work on the PC-based savestate manager tool for HoustonTracker 2, and hopefully release the first beta in a few weeks' time
- release one major update to HT2, though perhaps that'll have to wait till January
- continue fiddeling with my TI-92+

Other than that, I'm very much looking forward to the yearly album recording session with my electro/trashpunk band in December.

Thanks. Sometimes I pretty much have to literally throw some of the sources of stress and pressure out of the window. I'm not officially quitting any project, though. After all, I finished Supersonic Ball in 2013 after 3 years of hiatus.

Also the PC-based savestate manager tool for HT2 will be nice. I wonder if savestates from a 83+ will work on older models like with Super Mario levels? Maybe HT2 for the 92+/v200? @princetonlion.tibd  would definitively be very happy :P

Also when your album gets ready be sure to let us know in the music showcase section of the forums. I personally like punk. :)

Don't have many goals this year:

1) Finish with a 3.9 or above GPA (lol like that's happening)
2) Finish KIMP (a knightos image editor im working on)
3) Finish a game I've been working on for a few years off and on in Unity, just need to figure out proper networking

Good luck with your grades Max >.<

Also regarding the Unity game, make sure to make a topic in the non-calc projects showcase when you have screen captures ready :)

Calc:
Learn TI BASIC

NonCalc:
Programming class on fourth term(more of an introductory class, hopefully take Computer Science later on)
Get a 3.9 GPA or higher-it's actually possible

Life:
Try out for volleyball club-This is my first year playing volleyball, but I played a lot of sports(basketball, football, and football), so I might have a chance

Good luck :) (providing that it doesn't take all of your free time for programming hobbies x.x)

And if you need TI-BASIC help, be sure to ask on the forums :)

I think volleyball practices are only once a week, unlike the everyday practices of high school volleyball <_<

Ah ok, that seems more manageable. Some people in the TI community in the past had to spend most nights playing soccer or football. That said, I would have liked to play football as kid even if I would probably have gotten slammed hard at first.
u/Yuki October 28, 2015, 08:18:09 PM
Bleh, been a while I did any sports... Walking is fun, though.

Otherwise, I should play more piano.
