Found to my surprise that I didn't have an art thread here. For now, I'm just gonna dump all the digital stuff, 'cause I'm not certain where a good portion of the pencil stuff's disappeared to >.>

More or less finished stuff

Early fiddling around with stuff. It's kinda meh.

Completely aping a friend's art style. It turned out decently though, so eh

Stuff done for a sadly now-defunct RP site. </3

Friend asked me for a harry potter thing, so I did it?

More doodly things

And a thing I did today, 'cause I was bored and had nothing better to do :walrii:

Very nice doodles. I enjoy your style very much, so keep it up :P

More doodles. Kinda slowly working on refining my style, which is nice.
maybe one day I'll actually learn to draw a whole person, rather than kinda just a bust

Woah I love your art style and that :walrii: is just cool. You should post the Walrii in the fanart thread. :)

Some people thinks that the bust is the only important part or the most important part <_<

Will do ^^
And while the bust is important, actually figuring out how to decently do proportions and stuff is pretty crucial if I want to do much of anything.

Yeah true lol. I personally always sucked at drawing people, even as pixel art.

@DJ Omnimaga: Try to resize a photo so much it's almost pixelart. Then split the screen and try to redraw the picture ;) that way you get pretty good results and it's gonna help you further creating pixelart in general since you'll get a feeling for how to draw stuff ;)
u/Dream of Omnimaga September 23, 2016, 02:03:37 AM
What do you mean by splitting the screen?

Hooray! I like your art! I wish I could make mine have that smooth look, mine is all sketchy. What's your tablet and program?

Been trying to get at least *something* done every day, so I don't run too horribly out of practice...
u/Caleb Hansberry September 24, 2016, 02:22:38 AM
Good idea! Drawing a lot is going to be beneficial no matter what you draw. Me, I don't have enough time in a day with work :v
Nice picture. Might want to look into making the shoulders less stiff.

I like the new art :). And yeah to be hinest I kinda drifted away from drawing as soon as I got a calculator that had game capabilities. Most of my final drawings were heavily influenced by JRPGs and mangas
u/Turiq October 01, 2016, 08:07:08 AM

Haven't posted anything in a couple days 'cause the last couple days were strictly sketches, and not really worth doing much with
u/Dream of Omnimaga October 01, 2016, 02:09:59 PM
That's my favorite so far :)

On a side note, what is the difference between a drawing and a doodle? :P
