From the screenshots, it looks almost exactly like a HD 'remaster' of roller coaster tycoon 2.

It kinda is, but it's soooo much better. For example, you can build everything in all 8 directions and you can bank tracks seamlessly (not only 45 degrees!!). Furthermore, you can scale up elements: Huge loops, smooth curves, more gradual drops, etc :D There's also a big modding community around it.

Seeing as this looks like 2D, I assume old computers like mine might still run it, right? Not that I'm into coaster games, but that might be fun to mess around with.

It's isometric, but still 3D.
