Indeed, unless that's all you have to eat (if you live in Northern Canada, Alaska or Greenland then that's a possibility). I heard the meat tastes a bit like beef, but eating it raw or not cooked well enough is dangerous because parasites tend to hide inside their body and the only way to kill them is cooking.

I doubt walruses are eaten anywhere else than those areas.

Probably rural people in Alaska use them as a food source.

What I meant was roasting them alive, I have nothing against killing and eating things
