Starting Monday, this is when, in the calculator community, you will start seeing signs that CodeWalrus exists. Since this week began, some of our staff members have started using the tagline "Remember the day the walrus started to fly..." in their forum signatures on other forums and my Bandcamp music store was redesigned to fit the site theme. On December 1st 2014, as forum avatars, it's Walrii that you will start seeing appear:

On December 7th, it's this signature that will start appearing publicly (on that day, we could almost talk of "Black Sunday" because of the story behind CodeWalr.us and by then, it will probably become clear to some people that something's up):
Remember, the 24th of October...

Then on December 13th, the following avatar and signature, where the banner will start leading to the actual splash screen URL, http://codewalr.us/ , will replace the above:

Remember the 24th of October, the day the walrus started to fly...

By December 19th, people will probably have already figured out, but this is around when we will blatantly start saying that a new calculator forum has been running since October, but that it's invite-only until New Year 2015. The splash screen will be gone and the site domain name will lead to the forums directly (although still not open to public).
Coming soon: January 1st 2015

Around December 24th, the following signature will start being used instead, fully unveiling what the site is about:
Coming soon: January 1st 2015

Then on January 1st 2015, in the form of a programming group (for now), a new era will begin...

April 1st is coming up and I wanted to compile some of the best calculator pranks for the TI-84 Plus CE that you can do to your teacher or friends. I've even put how much time each prank will take to execute and how difficult it is to reverse the prank!

I thought it would be cool to see what others have as computer. In my case, nothing fancy, as I've been using the same PC for over 9 years, but it got recent upgrades and the GPU was upgraded 4 times.

Processor: Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.8 GHz

Hey guys... Wonder what I'm doing these days, other than Zarmina? It's a little project I'm involved with some friends that I'm working on since a little more than a year, basically it's a matching service for podcasters and Youtubers to find entrepreneurs who would want to put some ads on your cont...

I mean, think about it! Both the SMS and 84+ CE have similar CPUs, and if the 84 is powerful enough to emulate the GB, it really shouldn't be much of a problem. I honestly would LOVE to just be able to play STH and Alex Kidd on my calc, even if it's the inferior verisons.

Not sure if the PICO-8 technically counts as a "console", but I've decided to post this in the "consoles" section...

I'm developing a game for the PICO-8, a video game console that does not actually exist. And because Wal-Rush! for the NES does not exist :P ,...

A few years ago, I was happy to get my music on iTunes and other major retailers out there, as well as Spotify, but the service I used to keep my music there was too expensive, so I had to remove my work from there.

However, I have found a free service that does the same thing (although ...

I am writing a simple game in ez80 assembly, and every single time I run the program, my calculator's free RAM goes down a lot.
I can run the game maybe 4-5 times before it runs out and a memory error occurs.

Is my program simply not deallocated from memory, if so, how do I ge...

I've unearthed one of my old pull requests and now we can (finally!) have proper Python games on the NumWorks calculator. The missing bits were keypad readout and some basic graphics primitives (zardam's time module was already merged some time ago). I've scrambled together a Pong game to showcase t...
