As epilepsy reacts to FAST flashing, it would only need to capture a a half second or so + calculation time.

I think we can all say out worst fail was not backing up before running faulty code + ram clear.

I hadn't even considered the epilepsy factor, and I now regret not putting a warning.  I forgotten how prevalent it has become over the past decades.

IDEA:  An Epilepsy extension for chrome!.  It will pull in the website for a half second to see if there is any risk posed.  I mean, since epilepsy is about quickly flashing things, you don't need much time to determine if it is safe. Faster than the loading speeds at home at least.  Wish I knew how to program anything other than Axe and C XD

I hope they ever make a pi with a sata interface, cause SD cards are incredibly slow.

I wouldn't call 10MB/s U/D slow personally.

I tried once with a friend's Pi, this is possible, you just have to plug a screen, keyboard and mouse in and there you go. But that would be pretty slow, due to the SD card.
I use mine as a remote desktop to Purdue's network.  With decent network speed, I love it!

Unfortunately I just got a B+ for Christmas.  Oh well, I'm still happy :)

Cqtm, you guys are acting like I am new to the [calc programming] community.  Thanks for the warm welcomes.

Welp, I guess I am new to this site XD

My name is HappyBobJr, but everyone just calls me James.  My dad insisted me be named after him, HappyBob.
I am mostly a lurker, but will respond to tidbits here and there.
I know Axe (less than yall though), C, some JS, HTML (Do we even consider that a language?), some Python, and a bit of Japanese.
I am very friendly to the point where I may become annoying, so I beg you to please just let me know so I can modify my behavior.

I pop up in the IRC now and then, but if you want to contact me you can PM me, add me on FB, or text me at (513)889-6709 (North America ONLY)

HAPPY PROGRAMMING EVERYONE
Welcome! I hope to see some of your projects take shape. :) I don't know anything of what you know (except a bit of HTML), but there are plenty of users here who are fluent in all of the above! Well, I dunno if anyone here is fluent in Japanese :P

Not sure if I will  finish many more projects. I tend to go into a coding frenzy, get 60% done and quit XD
The only one I ever finished was http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/432/43244.html in 2010.
I made a 2player tron game, but I lost it. I may be able to find it on an old classmates calc though :P
I think JuJu and Saranome know some Japanese/

PC, Mac & Vintage Computers / Re: question about C

Alright, thanks.
I didn't think it would work, but I wasn't certain enough to correct the professor.

The class is...  interesting. He will have code exmples on the projector, but never has them run nor compiled.

PC, Mac & Vintage Computers / question about C
January 14, 2015, 02:11:23 PM
Int a [4]
Int b[4]
a[6] = 5

OK, my professor heavily implied that will always result/be the same thing as b[1] =5.  Can anyone confirm this, as I'm 99% sure that it's not true...

Thanks!
