Infinity:Game Boy Color RPG by TI community members release!
Some of you old timers will probably remember this project. Infinity was a Game Boy Color RPG that was created by former TI community members from around 1999-2001. The game never saw a realease as the Game Boy Advance was coming out soon. An incomplete build was released some years back. It appears that the project has been revived and is getting an official cartridge and digital release. Many of the original programmers have even been recruited to help finish it. Here's the kickstarter page: h...

What headphones/earphones do you own?
Ditto to the title.I have a pair of V-Moda Crossfade LP2(Over-ear) headphones. The sound is great and the durability is on a whole other level(I feel like it can stop a bullet, but I won't test it). And the price was amazing($130)!

Unable To Edit Word Documents
Hello Friends. This is my first post in this forum. Recently I am suffering from an issue with my computer. Yesterday I saved some word documents from the office on my home computer by pen drive and I can't edit or modify them in any way. I don't understand why this is happening, and how this problem can be solved. Can anyone help me with this?

Old Android devices
When you look at Android websites, they often talk about new devices coming out but once they're out,it's no longer being mentioned ever again.Feeling sorry for my old devices, i started to put custom ROMs on them. Thanks a lot to the XDA community for keeping those devices alive !They really brings some life to otherwise useless junk.Today, i'm taking a look at the LG Optimus L3 E400. OEIS golfing!
Inspired by this , and highly inspired by the Programming Puzzles and Code Golf (PPCG) stack exchange. If there are any doubts with the rules, default to their rules. You must take a sequence in the OEIS (it must be known that it has infinite terms), and write a program taking a input, n, (somehow. If your language doesn't support taking input, editing the source code to insert a decimal number is allowed) and outputting, in base 10 plain text th...

Huawei stopped allowing unlocking the bootloader for devices released after May 24. As for devices before that date, well they'll stop unlocking the bootloader 60 days after May 24.It's unknown why Huawei would decide to do this, as devices like the Honor 10 were constantly advertised and recommended on XDA as Custom ROM friendly devices.Looks like i...

Photoshop Oil Paint Filter
Hello again!About a year ago we had a topic about Waifu2x in real time. Now I am wondering if someone is interested in something that is probably way easier. And this will be good for those who likes the look of Waifu2x. These images are made from Retroarch shaders in real time then extra filtered with Photoshops Oil Paint filter. So I wonder if someone has the code for the oil paint filter or could make it? It would then be quite easy to port to Retroarch. ...

iPhone X
So yeah, Apple Keynote happened, and the iPhone X was revealed. Looks cool, but look at that price tag!$999 for 3gb of ram and 64 gb of storage$1,149 for 3gb of ram and 256gb of storageIn comparison, a OnePlus 5 with 8 gb of ram and 128gb of storage is only $539.Yeah, maybe you want that cool screen or Face ID or Animojis, but even then, is it worth 1k? Especially when smartphones half the cost(and even less) can do the job of a smartphone perfectly?

How to add programs to Windows 10 start menu without having to re-install
Is there an easy way to add programs to Windows 10 start menu manually, as in without having to install nor uninstall->install again said program? Android-x86 - My experience with it so far
Android-x86 is a project that intended to port Android to the intel/amd x86/amd64 architecture. (most android devices are using ARM)Before even Android-x86, Google had released an Android emulator that's actually running x86 binaries for performance reasons. However, the emulator was pretty slow at the time and it did not support 3D hardware acceleration, only a software renderer.Originally, Android-x86 only targeted a few select hardware like the EeePC but over time, as Android became more stand...

OSS or Open Sound System is the first sound API that was supported in Linux.Forks of OSS are also used by the BSDs and Solaris. It was eventually replaced by ALSA due to the main developer making some modifications proprietary, leading Linux to switch to ALSA.However, 4Front Technologies eventually made it open-source again. Some were dissatisfied with ALSA and were complaining about the noticeable drop in sound quality. This eventually led me to install OSS and stick with it.The first time i reboot...

Videoway device
So not many people might know this, but from 1989 to 2006 there used to be a service and device in Quebec, Canada, called Videoway. It served as TV channel decoder, interactive TV, news, astrology, stock exchange, classifields and had a lot of video games playable on it. It was pretty much the ancestor of Internet in Quebec province. It was discontinued in 2000 and the service remained online until 2006. However, since it was shut down, all games that used to be playable on it disappeared perman...

A graph problem (not necessarily math-heavy)
Well, I have a graph problem. Yeah, that's the title.Basically, imagine nodes in a plane (well, they'll be in space but let's say plane to keep things simple), without any edge for now, because the problem is exactly to find out where to put the edges. And where do we want edges? We want edges between neighbour nodes, meaning that a node will have an edge with all the closest nodes. What does that mean "closest"? There is a difference between "the 5 closest" and "the 20 closest", so yeah, my def...

Did anyone create a video player for TI-84 Plus CE?
Is there anything that has been done or in development? If there isn't, m idea would be there being a video to image converter, then a resolution converter and then making a program that would link them together (Non-Calc), and then a program on the calc to run it. Make it 30 fps or more if the calc can handle it. I've seen the TI-84 Plus version on Cemetech. Thanks for reading and/or helping!

Windows 10
So I upgraded to Windows 10 yesterday. It said the system requirements are identical as Vista so I figured I would be fine, since my PC could run Windows 7 more than well. After several hours the upgrade was done. To my surprise, Starcraft: Brood War actually ran on Windows 10, sort-of, and it did not have the color bug from Windows 7 that caused colors to look funny. Of course Battle.net no longer works and I get memory violation errors upon exiting, but I guess there are fixes for that anyway....
