Walrii tokens are things that
@c4ooo was talking about, I just took the idea a step further!
Walrii tokens are like reputation points but better. You start with 100, and people can give you some, and you can give other people some.
Say DJ created a really cool game. I could give him, say, 5 walrii tokens. Assuming we both had 100, he would then have 105, and me 95.
But, to prevent people from cheating the system, you can only give a max of 20 walrii tokens per day. You can also only give once to a post, and you cannot give more than 10 per post.
You also cannot have a reputation of less than zero.
I also feel that admins should be able to hand edit scores, in case of abuse.
Walrii tokens could also be earned/used on certain games in the arcade. I think these games should be mentally challenging (i.e. Puzzle games), and you can only win from a certain game a set number of times.
Walrii tokens cannot be given/used in the Randomness topic, because that makes sense to me (I don't know why, though).
I also have a sprite, which needs improvement, but it's a start:

(imma shrink it later)
[edit]
Perhaps one could assign a 'bounty' of up to 25 Walrii Tokens, and if a person solves the problem (either according to the user, or if they abuse the system, the admins), they get the tokens.
^^ Totally didn't get that idea from stackexchange.
[edit^2]
Note: things in [] are buttons.
To clarify, here's how it would look (sort of, but neater): (for a user with 100 tokens)
In mini-profile:
(https://image.ibb.co/gfLWGQ/walriitoken_1.png) x 100
To give, in post:
[Give this user (https://image.ibb.co/gfLWGQ/walriitoken_1.png) ...]
Clicking that would lead to this:
Enter how many (https://image.ibb.co/gfLWGQ/walriitoken_1.png) you would like to give to [name here]: ____
[ok] [cancel]
In game:
Please insert (https://image.ibb.co/gfLWGQ/walriitoken_1.png) (https://image.ibb.co/gfLWGQ/walriitoken_1.png) (https://image.ibb.co/gfLWGQ/walriitoken_1.png)
You have 100 x (https://image.ibb.co/gfLWGQ/walriitoken_1.png)
Where would they show up, though? Because if they show up in people's mini-profile or signature then the forum interface will be cluttered like crazy >.<

Also, why are we using weird text sizes and the like?
idk. I copied and pasted the stuff from my iPod's notes, cuz it doesn't like the editor.
Oh I see. Does it support BBCode or something?
EDIT: Wait, nevermind, I forgot that SMF 2.0.x had a WALRIIGYSIWYG post editing mode since on CW it's disabled by default.
No, it just bugs out. WalriiIrc is horrid though. You can't see the text box, as every time you click it, the screen moves randomly.
In response to your earlier post, I envision them being (in the threads) next to karma, and (in the mini-profiles) below the personal text.
Here's a resized image:
I'll probably make it ~25% smaller, so that it is ~24x24.

I did:
Here's the resized sprite, next to a normal walrii:

I think it's a problem on your phone's end, because most other users never had any problem using WalrusIRC on their Android phones, even with the default Chrome browser. You should reformat your phone and reinstall everything.

He said he had iOS (iPad) ;)
And WIRC doesn't work on iOS unless you use puffin browser, iirc.
Oh I thought he had Android because he mentioned something about "Request Desktop Site", which I thought was exclusive to Android (specifically 5.0 and higher)
We stopped supporting iOS browsers a long time ago on CodeWalrus, because iOS browsers are inferior to Internet Explorer 6, compatibility-wise and it became unsustainable, especially without an actual iDevice to test code.
IIRC that feature existed since Android 2 at least. Could be wrong.
Anyway, good idea.
I too like the idea :)
Idk about SFM but it shouldn't be too hard implementing a single integer stat counter per user idea ^^
Probably a little rest service hosted on codeW servers or something like that ^^

1) I said iPod
2) I told you via WIRC, from my iPod.
If the post ratio thingie is stored in a giant table somewhere, just add another row for tokens :P

Nope. Maybe 3, but in Android 4 it did nothing at all due to a bug.
There should be some whay that points automatically replenish. Also maybe some way to encourage giving points? (its not like the karma system is really used which is basically the same thing)
Contests could give some points.
For points, couldn't we just use the already existing Walrii points and have the Walrii token thing show up as Walrii points description, replacing the current text?

/me mumbles something about not having his walrii points.
But yeah, this seems like an interesting idea; maybe make different colored tokes for increments of 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, and then put them in another section like by the Calculators owned or below the gender option?
If you didn't get your Walrii points then
@Juju should maybe fix this
