I don't mind if there are a lot of posts, since, after all, that's what is needed to keep the forum lively, but as mentioned above, short posts that are completely useless should be avoided. Of course, sometimes when you comment on someone's art, project or video, just a short comment will be enough, because in some cases there isn't much else that needs to be said, but when people just reply with "aw yess" in response to posts that have nothing to do with the original topic this isn't a quality discussion.

We know that the younger users usually improve over time so we are confident that everyone will increase their posting quality as time goes by, though. :) I already notice a trend where some members who used to be quite spammy now have around 95-97 good quality posts out of 100 and the ones that used to almost only post 2-3 word posts are slowly posting more and more quality posts (or at least stuff that contributes to the forum), which is good.

Well in some cases i find 3 word post can be made too, for example when you complement people on something they made but don't have any specific questions or critisism etc

Yeah I was more talking about when certain users posts like 30 posts without even doing any effort to keep them relevant and non-spammy. At least you in particular improved quite a lot since the early forum days :P (out of 50 posts now there might be one or two that is just something like "aw yuss!" or "w00t!").

Anyway we should probably get back on topic, even though that elite spammer banner kinda started it :P

Anyways, I'm gonna make a caterite/Wack-a-color banner soon!

oh cool! Be sure to share it. Maybe we can have a 4x3 banner too (not a banner of 4x3 pixels but a contest banner :P)

Yeah I planned to make some. They'll most likely use one frame of the contest logo thing since some forums disallow animated signatures as well as the C from CW logo. Walrii will probably be there too.I could also use a faded copy of the animation thing but use multiple frames?

EDIT: Large userbars (if I do smaller ones the background will most likely be squished to half its width):

I like them! Maybe the cups could become walrii medallions?

Whoa nice job! i like how you used the 4x3 font :)
u/Dream of Omnimaga May 13, 2015, 06:16:40 PM
Thanks guys :D.

They look good :). There are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will there be prizes for those slots?
u/Dream of Omnimaga May 13, 2015, 07:55:39 PM
Unfortunately nope, other than either the banners or badges. Future and bigger contests will most likely have more and bigger prizes, though.

Cool :). I should update my Nagoji banner to 90%...
