Like a Youtube comment says, it's an average. If people eats an average of 8 spiders a year, it could be that hundreds of people never eat any, but one or two people eat 100 a year during their sleep. :P

ANd even if it's not true, I am fairly sure that there is at least one person in the world that does it. After all, this world is full of sick individuals. :P

I blame Spiders Georg.

Quote from: http://reallyreallyreallytrying.tumblr.com/post/40033025233/average-person-eats-3-spiders-a-year-factoid"average person eats 3 spiders a year" factoid actualy just statistical error. average person eats 0 spiders per year. Spiders Georg, who lives in cave & eats over 10,000 each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted

I wouldn't want to sleep in a cavern where there are lots of spiders. Imagine if one crawls inside my mouth and then I wake up and chew on it without knowing. It must be disgusting. >.< I know that some insects can be eaten but large spiders sometimes almost seem like 90% liquid when you kill them >.<

I am not scared of a single spider but an ant colony just creeps me out *.*

Really? O.O I know that some ants can sting or bite but not the ones here IIRC and while they are annoying if you walk in the forest I don't care much about them. In the forest if I stand there and am on an unnoticed nest they start crawling on my legs. Jumping usually make them fall but sometimes they might end up inside my shoes, which is less fun.

Yeah that is what I am afraid of because when I was young I hated it when I had the feeling of ants crawling up my leg.

My only question is how do you see out of that mask? That would be my hardest trial if I was spider man/ woman.
