I recently started Scratch (http://scratch.mit.edu) development, and this is my first project: Walrii Fish Nom (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/114032656/).
Tell me what you think!
I'll be back with screenshots later. :walrii:
Oh nice to see you can still do some development. I'll check the game out when I'm back home. :3=

I like it actually, although it reminds me a lot of Cookie Clicker. :P Did you change the graphics much compared to the original? I think you should replace the pipe and maybe the floor with some of my tiles from the old CW topics. You could also use some sort of omnomnom sound but pitched up when :walrii: eats fishes and change the music to some CW track :P

I know; I did change the graphics. I made it all ice themed. :walrii: is now on ice instead of grass. That's pretty much the only difference.
Should I make the pipe glass? And do you have ice tiles? And water tiles? I'll look for munch noises tho. And maybe some barking to play periodically?
Also, my computer's speakers don't work, so I can't hear sound from it. What arcade-like music do you have/suggest?
Yeah true. I noticed the pipe is identical, though. I could maybe make you neew graphics if you can send me a zip file of the graphic files so that it can be themed after Super Walrii Land :)
As for the pipe I was thinking of something simple, likee Mario style :P. Sound-wise I got several songs, but of course I would need to find one that fits :P
My plans to continue:
-Add
@DJ Omnimaga 's graphics
-Fix the game so that the title screen works
-Make the pipe turn gold when fully upgraded
-Make the factory turn gold when fully upgraded
-Change the sounds
-Finish this thing!
File is attached, but don't change the positions of the objects, just how they look. I don't want to have to adjust everything (like the pipe's opening and the floor surface) again. <_<
Thanks for the file. I'll check what I can do later. Do the music and sounds have to be in a specific file format?
Umm...I don't know. I'm guessing that mp3 should be fine, though.
By the way, your zip file doesn'T have any sound file in it.
You only asked for graphics. :-\
This is a fun game, for some reason it reminds me of Epic Combo. Nice.

Yeah true, although I gave sound suggestions earlier, which means I could have probably been interested in swapping them. :P

Well, as it so turns out, it only accepts wave sounds, so here are the only two sounds currently in the game.
Thanks. I began working on the title screen but I doubt I'll change much on it. I did fix the :walrii:, which looked very distorted, and will soon fix the standalone one so that all pixels are of equal size. For the pipe I won't rip off Mario sprites but they'll look similar.
Sounds great! ;D
