I've noticed a few bugs recently right now I can only remember 2 but I'll probably remember eventually.
WalrusIRC won't show up. This happens when I am logged in for a long time, I'm guessing that this an issue with SMF.
I also can't vote on polls (only tried one so it might be isolated to that poll).

As an added issue. Gmail has started calling the forum updates spam.

Strange, I thought that the WIRC issue had been fixed this morning. Cumred had the same problem and it was caused by permission issues for members between 100 and 499 posts.

As for polls I'll need to check again, but it might be a similar issue. Have you tried recently?

Regarding the Gmail issue it is probably something we can't do about, due to the repeated nature of post notifications via e-mail. The best you can do is to click "Not spam".

EDIT: I might have found the issue with polls. Can you try again? Also, let me know if you still can't see WIRC. Ideally, post a screenshot of what happens.

WIRC is just a blank div. Logging out and logging back in fixed it. Also voting is fixed, thanks.

Ah I see. What browser do you use and which version and OS? I never had loading issues with WIRC in Opera nor Chrome, but at the local shopping mall, when I use their wi-fi it says I need to login to chat on WalrusIRC, even when I am logged in.
u/CKH4 February 10, 2015, 01:59:53 AM
Huh, interesting bug. Android chrome and windows 8.1 chrome.
u/Dream of Omnimaga February 10, 2015, 02:09:53 AM
Ah ok. I myself had the login issue I mentionned on Chrome Android.

I dont seem to have any problems with logging in via android though

I'm on Chrome mobile (Screw FX mobile, you're drunk) mobile and never had such problems.

Yeah I can login fine anywhere. It's just that even when logged in, I can't chat if I use the shopping mall wi-fi. :P I guess it's a bug in WalrusIRC causing problems detecting if the user is logged in. IIRC this happens sometimes the first time someone registers and make his first post.
u/Snektron February 10, 2015, 05:24:32 PM
Maybe it's possible that the mall stops the IRC connection?
u/Dream of Omnimaga February 10, 2015, 05:27:19 PM
Not sure. I mostly connect via there, my home connection or 3G. Maybe unlike the site itself WalrusIRC cannot handle such change in connection?

Next time try going to the full screen client. That worked even when the embedded one didn't for me.
u/Dream of Omnimaga February 10, 2015, 08:12:51 PM
Do you mean the one via the green title bar or the one available by clicking Walrii in the white bar? Because the one in the green bar is a different shoutbox called OmnomIRC (which WalrusIRC is dependent on)
u/Snektron February 10, 2015, 08:17:23 PM
I think he means walrusirc.codewalr.us

Yep, that's what I meant. You might want to link to that in the top bar so that more people know that it exists.
