Yeah,  that's what I was thinking... I'm just using the graphics and stuff, but the game itself will be different  (because, yes, the grinding in the real game is incredibly painful)

I recently got into using ICE (kudos to PT_ for making it!!!) and i have completed 1 game so far (http://www.cemetech.net/programs/index.php?mode=file&id=1574 ) and i am about halfway done with an ICE port of my Basic game Box Game SE (i'll link that one as well, once i find it)

The important part:
I had the idea the other night to make a top-down rpg-type game inspired by Dragon Warrior (which is one of my all-time favorite NES games ) I am planning on using sprites borrowed from that game


Hopefully i will be able to not fail horribly at this  (i probably will though), because i would hate to disappoint anyone who would like this
I am hoping to maybe have a title screen (functioning or not) within the next few days

Also, my main project thread will be on Cemetech (the topic has the same name as on here) so hopefully I won't forget to cross-post

I love this project, and i am very excited to see it continued!! Also, kotu, I have a CE and I am decent with image editing/creation, so i can help with creating sprites and stuff (I have helped @PT_ with some stuff for AoCE) so I can help if you need some! 

I am primarily on Cemetech, but I don't really have any important (muchless noteworthy) projects that deserve a topic on CW...       

Btw, I am really looking forward to the completion of this!

I am  18 years old, I am only (slightly) proficient in TI-Basic, but i am trying to maybe learn C... My main language is english, but i can read and write russian, and (mostly) read and write Korean. I have a TI-84+SE, a TI-84+CSE, and a TI-84+CE. I live in the US (Lake Stevens, Washington). I also play the cello, and i enjoy making things (particularly out of Legos) and i also dabble in circuitry and electronics!
