I will be doing server updates tonight around 2:00AM GMT. Expect a few minutes of downtime as I reboot the server.
Hopefully nothing will break. ._.
Will :walrii: survive?
He should. Unless a nuclear strike hits the server. <_<

You're gonna break it.
Indeed. It already lags :P
u realize 2am is a bad time unless u want to kick out guys like me while posting? D:
Buut I guess tome zones are a problem here as well >.<
It's midnight for me, 1am for most of Europe. I thought that was appropriate, it's only a few minutes of downtime anyway.
wouldn't 4am or 5am be better since many of us go to sleep around 3am? ??? 9_9
what exactl< are you updating? :)
Well, I don't really want to go to bed this late. <_< I'll just be updating the distro.
CODEWALRUS IS DEAD !!!
Streetwalrus & the cw team don't want to admit it but they are going to shut down codewalrus for good
because Nintendo sent them a C&D for Oiram !!!
I also blame systemcs because Pottering hijacked cw with his crap !
But more seriously, May 2 2017 will be known as the day of Scheduled Maintenance because
Duel Links will also be in maintenance around 5AM. :'(
no diel links AND no code walrus`oh oh.... doesn'T sound good
@gameblabla D:
Hope u can make it <3
Nevermind, I got the time zone thing totally wrong so I'll do it tomorrow during the day when no one is around since I'm free all day.
Crud, I won't be able to get my CW addiction in... I guess I'll go sulk in the corner..
But it's good that you have scheduled maintenance. Unscheduled maintenance is never good.
2AM GMT is like 9PM EST. Kind of inconvenient for the Americans.
Meh. We have worse problems to deal with .-.

Depends which day I guess. Friday/Saturday nights are quiet here

I have a better idea. Make it so that if there where less then 3 posts in the last 2 hours, it automatically triggers the update :ninja:

That pretty much guarantees the update will happen in 2 hours, considering that was roughly our activity level last week <_<

Nah, I need to be around during the update to fix anything that may turn up, so I'd rather do it manually.
Perhaps you could make all pages on the domain redirect to a page saying "CW is currently under scheduled maintenance" until the update is over.
DNS propagation times would make this pointless.
Edit: done with updates, that was pretty quick.
Now if only EFnet could stop derping, so that it doesn't confuse users about when maintenance is ending :P
