Wow I actually like how this looks like. It isn't realistic but the low poly and texture quality actually makes it stand out from other 3D stuff. Do you plan to make a game out of this? I could definitively see some cartoon-ish 3D  game being made out of this. Maybe a 3D remake of Reuben Quest: Ev Awakening with action battles?

I'm not sure about you guys but I've always loved games with a low-poly style. It just looks so simplistic and beautiful to me.

Dream of Omnimaga

@kegwaan it depends for me. If it's done correctly, as in, the game is intended to have a lower poly count, then it usually looks nice, but there are cases where it's done just to get around platform limitations where it can age badly. For example, Nintendo 64 games now look weird with the blurry ground textures and stuff.

remember valhalla? ;)

Jokeriske

thanks for the kind words :) i prefer cartoon style over HD 4k realistic graphics, but thats personal opinion

p4nix

Wow, that graphics look amazing. Maybe you could also make something more peaceful out of it, especially because of the dreamy atmosphere.

yeah i was thinking about making animations, like cinematics of birds flying in the sky and stuff, i have so much fantasy (i might use some assets too in valhalla)

Jokeriske

Double post because ive added an update

aetios

Looks really nice and all, but what were you thinking when you added palms and fir trees in the same scene? It doesn't make sense and IMO breaks immersion :/
ceci n'est pas une signature

p4nix

I don't think it ruins immersion, but I also doubt that this could be real ;)

thats so beautifull about fantasy, it doesent need to make any sense :)

Dream of Omnimaga

Yeah I agree that the palm trees might be unfitting with the rest, but maybe he could move most of them at lower altitude where it's warmer or close to an active volcano. Also I remember Vahalla. Do you plan to use those graphics in it now?
