Guess I only buy high-end ones. I have the HTC 8X, M8, and Infobar A02 which is made by HTC, big fan of all of them.

HTC phones are great themselves, except when you go to the low-end phones, when it breaks, well, it breaks. Otherwise, they're easily crackable, rootable, unlockable, name it, and that's nice for the power user.

With lower-end ones (not as low-end as my Samsung i5510 though), Juju went through two different HTC phonees in one year, both of which had different charging plug issues and I heard other people who had charger issues with their HTC. I guess either this was solved or it's not an issue with high-end ones.

On the top end of my computers is a Dell Poweredge R410 with:
1TB spinny disk (will be RAID 1 once I find another decent drive for relatively cheap)
256GB SSD used for caching
64GB ram
2 hex-core Xeon E5645
with dual NICs, and all the general servery stuff

I'm not going to list all the electronics because that would be a lot of listing stuff...
Speaking of phones though, I have a Note 3 with CM on it. It's pretty nice.

There was one HTC phone in there (my first Android phone, actually), but pretty sure the others were Samsung Galaxy Notes. I think my other HTC phone died, but much later.

In my case, I'm not planning to shell any money at all on a phone. It would have to be a phone plan that includes the entire phone's cost, like last time, hence why there are chances that I end up with a lower-end phone than my Nexus 5. But sometimes Videotron are nice and offers unnanounced rebates/promotions to existing customers, so maybe I'll be lucky again. I also need to make sure that the phone plan isn't overpriced so that it won't end up costing more than a separate phone and cheaper plan.

So the college I'm going to gives a laptop to freshman students. It's going to be an HP Elite x2, which is more of a tablet than a laptop. I has a detachable keyboard, so I can use it just like an iPad. It's going to come with Windows 10, and I think I'll be getting mathematica with it too, which is awesome.

Wow nice. Do you mean give as in it's yours forever or more like you have to give it back at the end of school year? That's even better if you can keep it. :O

Even better is the fact it's not a Mac *runs*

That would probably be too expensive for a college :P

That's unless schools got special deals with Apple like TI does with their calculators, though. :P

Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.8 GHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM
NVidia Geforce GT 1030 (2 GB VRAM)
256 GB SSD
1 TB HDD

I still have the same computer I bought I February 2010, so it has been in use for over 9 years now. However, I recently installed a solid state drive with a fresh new Windows 10 install and it runs much faster than before. It needs a better GPU, though (it's the 4th graphic card this PC goes through)

I thought it would be cool to see what others have as computer. In my case, nothing fancy, as I've been using the same PC for over 9 years, but it got recent upgrades and the GPU was upgraded 4 times and on March 25 it got a RAM upgrade.

Processor: Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.8 GHz
RAM: 16 GB DDR3
Storage: 250 GB SSD & 1 TB HDD
GPU: 4 GB NVidia Geforce GTX 1050 TI
OS: Windows 10 Pro

Since the SSD update and Windows re-install, my old computer is running so much faster. I also got a laptop, which is a dual-core around 2.6 GHz, with 6 GB RAM and a 600 GB hard drive. It's slow but I keep it for the time being as it can be handy when I invite people home or for emulation.

I have like 5 computers in my room cause I've been taught I should carry no less than 5 computers at all times, like a sensible person. They're all more or less cty and probably wouldn't run Crysis.

Main computer:

CPU: Intel Core i5 2,7 GHz
RAM: 14 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB
Displays: 19" Samsung SyncMaster 950b CRT 1600x1200 + 27" iMac (mid-2011) 2560x1440
OS: macOS Sierra 10.12

Alt computer:

CPU: Pentium E2220 2,4 GHz
RAM: 2 GB DDR2
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 2 GB
Display: some 35" Sony TV, 1080p
OS: Arch Linux 4.20 (lol)

Alt alt computer:

Model: Apple //c
Display: either a green monochrome CRT or it's plugged to the above TV

Alt alt alt computer:

Model: Raspberry Pi 3 B+
Display: some 5" 800x480 thing I got off some Chinese site I dunno

Alt alt alt alt computer:

Model: Microsoft Surface RT 1
Does something: no
