Mario Odyssey, Pokken Tournament DX and Xenoblade 2 will cost $100 in Canada?

Meanwhile it is $60 in USA, even though the Canadian exchange rate is $0.73 USD. Are they forecasting that the dollar will be worth $0.60 USD by October or is that an error? Because it's 100 on Amazon.ca too.

Probably just a placeholder and/or EBGames overshooting the price, but yeah, it still kinda shows how the exchange rate is c these days. They'll probably adjust it as they'll buy copies from Nintendo.

I seriously hope it's a placeholder that EB Games copied from Amazon and stuff, because in USA the game is $60 USD, which is about $80-85 in CAD IIRC.

Ouch. In France its price is also higher than other games, say Pokkén DX. Its €59.99 on Fnac, and I still didn't see it on Amazon. And that's CDN$88.76.
And, yup, it's $59.99 = CDN$79.57 on Amazon US.

Pokken Tournament and Xenoblade 2 are listed at $100 too x.x. Also Mario and Luigi rpg and Pokémon Sun/Moon for 3DS are listed at $60. If they really keep those prices intact I'm probably done with gaming and selling my Switch lol. I mean, the PSVita games were already starting to be out of control, price-wise, to the point I haven't bought any PSVita title since 2014, but now it looks like the 3DS and especially Switch will suffer the same fate.

I just hope it's just a tactic to milk extra cash from people who wants the game right at release and that all prices will go down immediately through various sales or after a month or two, because it's ridiculous. I mean, imagine if you Americans had to pay $74.99 for every game and even more for special editions.
