The concept is really simple, but I really like it.
I hope this won't be blocked on school systems!

It would be cool if you could "name" blocks,
like pressing info on it will display little messages or descriptions.

Something I made for school, but I think you guys would like this.
The interface is not very well programmed, but it works (just barely).




Controls:
H- Change algorithms (From A* to Dijkstra and back)
C- Clear the board
LClick- Block Tile
RClick- UnBlock Tile
Enter/Return- Start the algorithm

Niches of these algorithms:
-Movement value is mathematically depressing: Going diagonally costs 1.4 units and not sqrt(2).
-You can always move diagonally to an open neighbor.

Remember to extract the file before running.

Yes, according to the poll the game will be balanced for squads.

Don't worry about the complexity. This game isn't meant to be brutal like X-COM or Fallout.

New stuff that was added:
-You can look around properly (Thanks to trigonometry)
-There's 2 weapons: Rifle and the Rocket Launcher (attachment below)
-Multiple enemy pseudo AI added (including a generic-gunman functionality)

Also I don't know how I made such a big mistake, but MOS was definitely not in-dev for 3 years. At most it's 2.5y as of today. The planning phase might have gotten that far though.

School is very demotivating.
I'm not as academically inclined as some of you may be.
Anyway, back to the show!







I love drawing, but my friends are indifferent (probably not a good sign).
I'll get better though! Just watch.

Awesome idea, looks complex.

I personally care more for speed than graphics,
so 2-d would be nice. I'm guessing it would look like
Turn and Burn for the Gameboy.

Note:
You can make "polls" for voting when you're making a thread.
I think you can add them later too.

It's interesting to think what was, and what could have been.
The TI-83+ Elite project comes to mind.

Welcome back.
I recommend a smaller project, like an RPG (it's a popular choice).

Ignoring that, putting Linux on your calculator sounds expensive on storage,
so take that into account. If a lot of memory is taken, then programs might not
be able to be used on it (defeating the purpose). I wish you more than luck.

@_iPhoenix_  I don't think he understands. Just let him do it and he'll understand when he gets there.

Hello, Steve!
There is many different languages for the TI-83 series of calculator (which I'll assume you have).
There's TI Basic, AXE, and assembly (The more known ones.)
I recommend AXE as it is as easy to learn as TI Basic but with almost as much power as Assembly.
