Post by: gameblabla on October 23, 2016, 09:09:46 PM
So i was messing around with Google a bit and i thought :
"Why not compare and see what people likes & hate ?"
And so i did.
Here are some examples :

Multinationals

Google
Love : 184 000 000
Hate : 33 300 000

Microsoft
Love : 30 200 000
Hate : 14 800 000

Monsanto
Love : 21 000 000
Hate : 529 000

Mcdonalds
Love : 22 000 000
Hate : 1 700 000

People/some other crap

Moms
Love : 152 000 000
Hate : 26 900 000

Dads
Love : 26 100 000

Walruses
Love : 12 500 000
Hate : 541 000

Cats
Love : 49 200 000
Hate : 19 300 000

THIS IS RIGGED !!!! The elections are rigged

Hate : 524 000

OUYA
Love : 724 000
Hate : 257 000

Big rigs : over the road
Love : 6 550 000
Hate : 1 900 000

Sonic 06

Superman 64
Love : 2 090 000

Hate : 2 730 000

US
Love : 556 000 000

And finally... politicians.

Hilary
Love : 39 800 000

So according to Google, Trump will win this election and people hate their moms more than their dads.
Also, more people love monsanto than the ones who hate it.

When Microsoft has an higher love ratio than homosexuals, you know that there is a pretty serious problem still remaining in this world. >.<

But again, this data probably also includes several heavily-populated countries where homosexuality can get you sentenced to death. The Your mom part is most likely due to the meme.

You should do it for game consoles as well as some notoriously bad video games (Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing, for example). I have the feeling that the higher the amount of memes about something/someone, the higher the love:hate ratio.

Sure ill go with that

I have a friend who talks with non-answers like that. Its funny until you actually try to get him to answer seriously.

Erm I actually hate when that happens lol, but it depends of the situation. I only hate it if it's a very important discussion about an issue that needs to be solved immediately or if I'm asking if someone wants to go out tonight and he's still unsure just 30 minutes before the event when it takes 60 minutes to get there.

I just remembered this and i just realised Google results actually predicted the future.

lookign into the future by getting strange statistics...
werent there some cases where they tried to determine the profit made by newly released pc games based on dropping visitor numbers on youc and redtube on the first release day? Iirc they were pretty accurate in comparisons like "that new game will make about 10% more profit than that one from last year" and their predictions were always correct

Lol. Also there was an article somewhere about how the election results are giving game developers many ideas for future games, but I forgot the link. I bet most will be FPSes or sci-fi, set in a dystopian world, though.
