Warning: This segment is really, reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllyyyyy long. And it's not really funny, but here it is. Click on the button at your own risk.
caleb1997 I'm on a computer 3:39:09 PM
JoeYoung nah, they haven't 3:39:12 PM
caleb1997 that won't install anything 3:39:17 PM
caleb1997 which is why 3:39:25 PM
caleb1997 I am not playing 3:39:29 PM
JoeYoung but you're already playing minecraft on it, right? 3:39:33 PM
caleb1997 minecraft 3:39:33 PM
JoeYoung oh 3:39:37 PM
caleb1997 If I could, I would. 3:39:52 PM
JoeYoung computer doesn't have java? 3:40:02 PM
JoeYoung cause you can play minecraft without the launcher if it does 3:40:26 PM
caleb1997 No, just blocks all downloads,. 3:40:27 PM
caleb1997 Nor can I run it from a falsdrive 3:40:41 PM
caleb1997 flashdrive* 3:40:46 PM
caleb1997 because it won't read anything plugged in 3:41:01 PM
caleb1997 the USB port. 3:41:11 PM
caleb1997 :banghead: 3:41:18 PM
caleb1997 Trust me, I've tried. 3:41:24 PM
JoeYoung wow 3:41:46 PM
caleb1997 It gets annoying. 3:41:55 PM
caleb1997 Really annoying. 3:42:02 PM
caleb1997 :'( 3:42:27 PM
caleb1997  3:42:33 PM
caleb1997 because usually, I can download it. 3:43:05 PM
caleb1997 If I can't download it, I run it from a flashdrive. 3:43:17 PM
caleb1997 But I can do neither here. 3:43:28 PM
caleb1997 And what really sucks is that the software used to do this 3:43:45 PM
caleb1997 cannot be uninstalled 3:43:52 PM
caleb1997 at all. 3:43:56 PM
caleb1997 I've tried many angles, but none of them work. 3:44:26 PM
caleb1997 Turnging the whole computer towards a singular program usually works 3:44:57 PM
caleb1997 turning* 3:45:00 PM
caleb1997 because it can bring all of its processing towards deleting that one program 3:45:31 PM
uCaleb Well, you could say that with less spammyness 3:45:37 PM
caleb1997 But it did not work here. 3:45:42 PM
caleb1997 The first (and only, so far) time that that method has failed me. 3:46:02 PM
uCaleb What are you even talking about? Your computer is a library computer or something that's all locked? 3:46:53 PM
JoeYoung he's not being spammy, I don't blame him using the webchat 3:47:02 PM
JoeYoung you're just being needlessly picky 3:47:13 PM
caleb1997 It's inserted into the core OS, so removing it would mean hacking into the boot files.... Which are also blocked. By this program. 3:47:20 PM
caleb1997 It is nigh on impossible to remove. 3:47:52 PM
caleb1997 So yeah. 3:48:00 PM
caleb1997 That's why I'm not playing MC right now.
Arrrgghhhh.....

Unfortunately, because of Job Corps, I won't be able to continue with this, as I will not have the time to learn ASM and do well at Job Corps.

:'(

If you can access it, the Why Your Life Sucks thread in safe haven has a more complete explanation.

No. You can get this off of the eshop, but it's $9.99 USD.

Gaming / Cube Creator 3D [3DS]
March 08, 2016, 07:35:41 PM
So.

A few days ago, I heard about Cube Creator, and hearing how good it was, I decided to try it.

A few things:

 • It's not too bad
 • graphics are decent
 • Roughly like MInecraft

But on the other hand......

1. While it does have blocks, not everything is cube-shaped.
2. The enemy AI is waaaaaaaaaaay too accurate (and fast)
3. There's really no point to building a house, as you carry everything on your person
4. Apparently, you can carry everything on you (which includes a furnace, flames ( O.O) (real, actual flames (in-game)), over 300 blocks of stuff, clothes, a sleeping bag, and so much other stuff)
4. Unlike MC, you use wooden tools to make higher-tier tools. A wooden axe is used in the process of making a iron, stone, gold, or diamond axe.
5. No auto-heal at all. If you get hurt, you have to eat to regain health. And everything (but the apples) have to cooked with the live flames that you somehow carry on your person without getting hurt.
6. No bow.  >:( There is nothing in the way of ranged weapons.
7. No torches, but you can apparently craft light out of glass and a rarely found ore.
8. Small map makes for a lot of hostile encounters.
9. No sticks. At all. Why?
10.You can't see your own hand.

Despite all of this, I still play it because it's all I've got. Until I can get a R4 card to put DSCraft on, I'm stuck with this....

Oh yeah, I forgot something:
11. No multiplayer.

*bump*

I like to mess around with stuff. Also, I like to play Minecraft, take stuff apart, fix stuff, program (of course) on Scratch, Linux, SmileBASIC, TI-BASIC, and Python. I also like to play on my 3DS ,DS lite, and GBA. When I get bored, I tend to listen to the radio and read, or play Ace Combat on my 3DS.

There's me.

So it'd be like this:

CE(5 pin)-> Raspberry Pi->GBA. Am I right?

How would I get started building a converter? After all, it's 6-pin (GBA) to 5(or4)-pin(CE) (if I remember correctly)
#9
I plan on it. Also, @MateoConLechuga , would you mind if I used your assembly engine (the one for Portal Returns) for this project?

So I'd have to get a converter, and connect it that way. Hmph.

I've played this a few times, and I own the bots, but I don't have my own copy, seeing as I'd have to have a PS4 and PS live membership. :(

The PTC minecraft can be runs on a DS, but I'm using a 3DS, which has more than enough processing power. So I don't think it will be a problem.

Couldn't Crafti for the TI-Nspire CX by @Vogtinator be re-used for the DS or would it only be fast enough for the 3DS? It wouldn't be 100% Minecraft, but it could still be expanded to include the features that you want, right?

Maybe.... But I just found this. It does have multiplayer, but no redstone.... as far as I can tell, anyways.

But I went and bought SmileBASIC, which, I believe is compatible with this MC DS port.

Then again, I know nothing about SmileBASIC. So..... Now that I have a interface, how do I get the program? There are a bunch of QR codes down at the bottom of the screen, but which do I scan? Once I can get the actual game, and understand it, I can start programming....

Doesn't the mini-USB of the CE have a proper controller now? It might work.

I've finally saved up the money for a GBA again. ;D So once I get that (should be today), I'll start anew.

But does anyone know how to get started? I still have no idea on how to actually start writing code that would even begin to run on a GBA, much less communicate between a GBA and a CE.
