Calculator Development / Re: Xenon Development thread | ICE Shell
December 20, 2018, 04:01:49 PM
sorry for double posting...
:!: Xenon Bug test Update
+: Adding to shell | *: Bug | "": comment
Running Programs
- Basic Programs
"Running basic programs work just fine "
-Asm Programs ('ICE Programs, C, etc.')
* 90% of programs run
* 10% of programs run and crash right after "RAM LEAK"
Running Program pins / Menu Bug testing
"Menu Allows 6 pins "
+ Display Program Pin ICON
*Running basic programs from menu Run GREAT  !
* taping the menu too much will lead to a crash "FREEZE" // Due to shell program over scanning
* Pins does not display properly When Pins has been deleted.
Settings
" Everything works in the settings "
+ Allow Lock screen logo
+ lock stat if a password is set
+ Add more settings
Terminal
" Do you think a terminal is needed "
* Test command syntax
* Echo crashing (due to sub(str2,6,7)=0 'ICE BUG')
+ Import command / using Xenon Compiler
:!: Feel free to comment :!:

Calculator Development / Xenon Development thread | ICE Shell
December 20, 2018, 03:27:47 PM
Hello Codewalrus !!!
For the past few month I have been working on a "ICE" shell name Xenon due to lack of interest in other project... I wanted to make some similar to cesium. Any way here is what Xenon Can do :
Features:
Credits:
All ScreenShots can be found here
*Note: Found more Bugs while recording
Right Now it's in its Beta stages I am looking forward to releasing this Shell.
I need to add more things such as more settings and pointers for ram and Rom.
*look Forward to adding "Import" to Terminal so you can import your own commands
To-Do
I'm getting close to releasing the Beta version of Xenon but i have some few thing I have to do.
Please PM or Post any features that will be useful for Xenon.
I will also keep an update on this post.
Please Leave A comment or suggestion .

Features:
- Runing Asm & Basic Programs
- Terminal
- Password Lock / Customizable UserName
- Developer Options
- Deleting Programs and Making Programs
- Battery indicator and clock
- Customizable colors
- Auto Exit
- Menu / Menu Pinning
- ...
Credits:
- LAX18 - for search code and providing the need pieces for the shell, Also giving me idea and features!!! :!:
- PT - For making ICE !!! & Helping with Saving code and teaching me how to store values into Lists..
- BeckAdam - For helping LAX18 with Search Code and much more more .
- MateoC - For Making Cesium !! and inspiring me !!!
- EscherLochran - Making the Amazing Default sprite Icons!!
All ScreenShots can be found here

*look Forward to adding "Import" to Terminal so you can import your own commands
To-Do
I'm getting close to releasing the Beta version of Xenon but i have some few thing I have to do.
- Menu Pining / deleting (100%)
Allow User to Pin a program into the menu
> it deletes but it does not display pins correctly - Runining menu pins (100%)
Allowing users to run pins in the menu. - Adding rom and ram pointers. (100%)
View value of rom and ram pointers . - Ram Leaks (ON HOLD)
Program crashes due over searching - Making Program Size Smaller (100%)
Size is too big for my satisfaction. 19000-20200 bytes
Current Size: 20100 - Adding [ON] + [PRGM] hook (ON HOLD)
Allowing users to access Xenon without going to Prgm menu - Find bugs (50%)
Looking for unknown bugs in Shell / Bugs are listed below
Bugs
► Unknown Crashing - Making better Terminal commands (100%)
The Terminal needs an upgrade. - GUI / UI update (100%)
make shell have a slick new design. - Adding Folder (NEXT VER)
Allowing User to add folder
Please PM or Post any features that will be useful for Xenon.
I will also keep an update on this post.
Please Leave A comment or suggestion .

Welcome back.
I recommend a smaller project, like an RPG (it's a popular choice).
Ignoring that, putting Linux on your calculator sounds expensive on storage,
so take that into account. If a lot of memory is taken, then programs might not
be able to be used on it (defeating the purpose). I wish you more than luck.
@_iPhoenix_ I don't think he understands. Just let him do it and he'll understand when he gets there.
i have been working on a halo game (2D)

The Americans are clearly inferior to the french !
They kill innocent mexicans at the US-mexico border, they eat burgers all days, they destroy their own land and they don't like the afro-americans !
THEY MUST DIE
So it is no surprise that they would do something like dis
How to rude ok this is how it happen
Ok I was in school ok and I had found way to get over the firewall and see student grade after that I did not know the school was tracking my every move the I told the education board and they found and I could not use the computer ever again on to the end of the school year it was bad for me because I ever thing in my school is done one a computer

Nice I will use it
Guess what
I was programing the program in ice then when I was it did not work at all I was Soo mad
Then made a program and ask it to fill the screen with black it filled the screen with white ice is stupid
I wasted 5 days work on something that does not work I am so mad
1) there is no possible way you can use that source code, ICE != C (the computer kind)
2) It's called debugging, and if less than 50% of your time programming is debugging, wake up; you are dreaming....
3) We cannot help without source.
4) it works for me, are you using the right color palette, as referenced in the docs?
5) I spent around 6 months on my neural network for the CE before I actually got around to proving it cannot be done with current commands. (I also figured out I really need a refresher on multivar calculus....)
I am not trying to be harsh, this is just me trying to be as helpful as I can!
You use the computer I use the cing calculator it does not work I don't know if it's the time version it doesn't work it compiles but doesn't do color commands correctly fix that now
I have to version 5.2.2.0043
Version update linux or tnu may look like this

If you have a specific question, do ask it, but otherwise do refrain or people will dismiss you as someone who doesn't really want to learn (to be honest, it's already too late for you, but you can always make up for it).
Also, I would like you to change the name of this project. It has absolutely nothing to do with Linux, and it's a trademark infringement, which has been discussed before. Why not come up with something original?
Lots of people have made programs they called "Windows" for the calculators -- only about time for Linux to have its trademark infringed too
