Title: IBM cloud quantum computer

So IBM made it's quantum computer available and programmable in their cloud:

waitch out though: they have a bitch license. Everything that gets ran on their computer is also their property <_<

I didn't think I would see quantum computers in my lifetime :O

Kinda a stupid license, though. Hopefully quantum computers are made available for a wider audience at some point. Then we would have our TI-Nspire CX and 84+CE private RSA key maybe :P

I think that'll rtequire some more qubits though, this one has only 5

How many would be required to factor such key in 1 year do you think?

5 qubits is not enough to do anything useful, save for letting people figure out how this works. Something like 50 lets you do something more interesting.

Hm I see. So it's exponential? (eg 5 qubits = 1 MHZ, 6=100 MHz, 7= 10 GHz, 8= 1000 GHz and 50 1^99999 GHz? :P)
