I specially like the UI changes Gogle did. the swooshiness, the fluidity and the little details makes Material Design a more than better UI for Android than ever.

Yeah, it really feels smooth. I'm wondering what approach Samsung will take because their colors are much more vibrant. The dialer and messaging apps need face lifts so maybe they'll address that when they upgrade. The only thing that I don't like about l is that the dialer feels under saturated, does anyone else feel the same way?

Duke "Tape" Eiyeron

No, it's because their phones are over satured. You can achieve the same results with rooting your phones to have display settings.

I'm confused, I think that Android l (5) dialer is under saturated. Is that what you were addressing?

Splitted topic to make it less offtopicy

I don't think samsung will have the same minimalistic design, since they have their own UI.
Although Apple's design is also quite minimalistic, and with Android vanilla AND Apple
being this style, Samsung might also go this way. Also Eiyeron maybe you should remove
the (splitted from... part from the title, since it's quite messy :P

(Yay thanks)

Yeah, Samsung does have their own (heavy and quite strange on the font choice) UI, Touch Wiz IIRC. I saw some lollipop+touchwiz themes there : http://www.knowyourmobile.com/mobile-phones/android-50-lollipop/22883/samsung-android-lollipop-update-bring-touchwiz-themes

Lol, good job splitting.
Samsung's stuff is really vibrant but I was more talking about the notification panel because stock Android 5 has a dark subdued notification panel.
Edit. Themes would be great on touchwiz because some of their stuff is ugly.

Snektron

Hmm, from the link it indeed looks like Samsung is still going for the more
vibrant looks, but it still looks nice. Although i have never (and still don't) liked
Samsung's notification panel.

Heh, Cyanogen's is quite good and had the advantage of being customisable.

Snektron

Yeah, although Carbon looks very promesing aswell

Duke "Tape" Eiyeron

This on a MD should be a neat thing!

CKH4

I agree that carbon looks good although in the early development stage I'd say it's nothing to wipe a phone about. Maybe it'll get to be as good as cyanogen.
