I wonder if this is real or just a ROM hack of SM64? ???

But yeah, basically if this is real, then there could have been Waluigi on the N64

Well, the guy who posted it, Kaze Emanuar, is very known for their ROM hacks, so yeah...

idk looks too good to be a hack
u/Yuki August 14, 2018, 05:57:43 PM
Yeah. Also looks too good to not be a hack.

Personally, what I found fishy is that the box isn't glossy like the original N64 game boxes (even worn down ones are somewhat glossy). And yeah the game UI looks identical to SM64. But again, by that logic, we could say that Zelda Majora's Mask is a ROM hack of Ocarina of Time. XD

I'd be very surprised if it was legit, but I'd also be very surprised if it wasn't.

The download contains a patch file and a tool to patch it against a normal Super Mario 64 [U] [!] ROM, so yeah.

Love the effort, though, probably going to try it soon.

100% legit then? :walrii:

100% legit a hack.

Anyway, it's a pretty good game, actually. It's based on the Super Mario 64 engine, but it's a quite extensive modification that completely changes the gameplay. Basically, customers are waiting at your taco stand, they ask you a specific kind of taco and you have to fetch the ingredients.
