Dream of Omnimaga

The real deal is 31 April but it doesn't exist, so instead we go for 22th of July, which is Approximate Pi day.

But in English-speaking nations you still use month/date format so I guess Happy Pi Day to you.

Yeah, it's basically only America doing this. See this list here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Date_format_by_country
Some countries like Canada use it sometimes but also support other formats. Some others like the Philippines put month before day but write the month with letters.
And then you're not left with a lot of countries thinking that MM/DD/YYYY is a good idea.

YYYY-MM-DD is the only sensible date format.

It's probably a very smart format in a lot of cases (basically, when you want to give a date, it's the best) but in everyday life, you usually know the year and the month, so day first makes sense, and month next in case it's not the current one, and year for the ones that are really lost :P
