As some of you may know, PT_ and I have been working on separate tutorials for xLIBC. We have decided to combine our efforts, and with the help of Kerm, begin working on our tutorial on the Doors CSE wiki. It is located here.
This will be our development thread, where we post and keep track of everything we have done and are working on. The wiki already has the basic outline of the tutorial. We also will create an exemplary program that explains and uses all of the commands.

Todo
- real(1 to real(9
- Move already written commands real(1 to real(4 into the wiki
- Move spriting and tilemap explanations to wiki
- Create exemplary program

If anyone has any questions or suggests, please post below!

How is the progress on this by the way? I haven't checked this much until today but xLIBC tutorials would definitively be great. Will you also cover Celtic 2 libraries? There is almost no info on how to create appvars, AFAIK.

Progress is fairly fast, but we both don't have a ton of time to put into it, so what is in the wiki is the progress.

We might add Celtic as well, but xlibc is the main focus right now.

Woah, been a while since we've worked on this.

Since it seems like I won't be able to get much programming done this month, I'm gonna be working on this. I have my CSE, so I should be able to get something substantial done.

Glad that it's still being worked on. I was wondering if you would continue since you switched to C. I hope you don't suffer a mem clear preventing you from doing any work on it until you come back home. >.<

That's good then. It would have sucked if you could only access a calculator until you come back from your trip, only to be greeted with archive corruption 1 week in, forcing you to do a full memory reset and no longer have access to your programs nor xLIBC for 2.9 months O.O

Haha. That would have sucked, but luckily, my CSE is pretty locked down now in terms of resets. (Or so I think) Anyways, got part of DrawString done, there's 2 more commands for the that one left.

This reminds me, I wanted to make a tutorial on how to get started with C. (For me it was pretty much ask Mateo how :P)

Yeah with the CSE at least we can run everything from archive except sub programs. On the CE, though, you can always group your files regularly so the only way they can be deleted is archive corruption, unless you have Archive Undeleter or something.

Also don't hesitate to ask questions here of you need help on C, especially that Mateo is not very active during Summer due to life.

Glad to see new progress on the xLIBC commands :)
