Happy 10th anniversary to our website! Figured I should do something special so get get a bit of activity so here's the idea: a game jam!

It's not going to be a contest, so no prizes (unless someone wants to offer something in which case contact me) but ultimately I (and any regulars who wants to participate, again contact me) will be going to review each entry and rate them.

Judges: Yuki

The theme: *where's the wlarus* [sic]

The rules:

  • The jam starts as the posting of this thread, and ends 2024-12-24T23:59:59-05:00.
  • You should have started working on your entry after the start of the jam, and have something released and playable before the end. The version posted as of the deadline will be considered.
  • To enter, simply create a thread tagged with [CW10AGJ] in the title.
  • You can enter alone or as a team.
  • Releases can be hosted anywhere, including forum attachments, as long as there's a link in the entry thread.
  • The judges should be able to run your game, either with the hardware available to them or under emulation.
  • Respecting the theme isn't mentioned anywhere in the rules.
  • Judges can participate, but can't review their own entry, and are disqualified from prizes.
  • If any prizes are offered, the conditions under which they shall be won should be stated.
  • Rules can change at any time.
  • Have fun!

Awesome, i hope to take part of it. I should have a game ready by next month. You guys haven't done a contest in a while now (besides the 4x3 one that i participated in)

Yeah, there was a major lack of interest since then, been a while I wanted to make one, I'm testing the waters to see if it's doable again, hopefully we get a few entries, let's see :)
