The problem is that you're not disassembling a program, but an OS. I don't really have knowlege about it too, but i know you have to manage all the pages with OS stuff etc. And IIRC Ida contains all kinds of nifty features for OS disassembling and such.

IIRC tr1p started analyzing the OS code to look for shady or interesting stuff, so I guess we should be fine for that. Hopefully this OS doesn't have too many limitations.

Nah that was the TI-84 Plus CE OS. Now this is the TI-83 Premium CE OS.

Jaretty will finally receive their TI-83 Premium CE stock around May-June! :D

Hopefully they don't mind shipping internationally and not for too much. If shipping is not too expensive then I might save quite a lot of money in addition of getting extra features.

The TI-84 Plus CE will make its way to Canadian stores soon. The shelves are empty at Staples, but the price tags are already in place:

$149.99 CDN for TI-84+CE, which is $10 less than the TI-84+CSE and $7 more than the TI-84+.

The TI-Nspire is back into liquidation/bargain bins, but I bet they'll restock again next school year.

We can get them for about 107€, which surprisingly is almost the same as 150 cdn

Yeah I am glad that the price is not too high. With the lower Canadian dollar I was worried it would be $170 or higher. That said, it's still lower than the TI-83 Premium CE price, which is 88.88€ in some stores.

??? The CE is cheaper than the Prime. From HP's site, the Prime is ~$150, while the CE is only ~$130

Go for something like Z80 ASM :P Or something generic like C or C++, you can use that almost anywhere

Unicorn

I don't think I'm gonna learn z80.

C, may work for me if I can find any good tutorials.

Or HP PPL if I get a Prime ;)

You can get the HP Prime for $130 on http://www.hpcalc.org . That's where I got mine. One site even had it for $120 when it launched. I doubt Unicorn will be able to buy an HP Prime for just $40, though. But since Unicorn prefers BASIC-like languages, he might want to go with the HP Prime instead of the CE for now, since the calc is 400 MHz with lots of RAM and its main language is extremely fast. (see the screenshots in the New Nspire Emulator thread)
