Indeed. Plus I am betting if we reported some of those bugs to TI, they would once again bring up the excuse that since those bugs only affect hobbyists which are only 1% of their customers, then they won't bother fixing them. The issue, though, is that sometimes, even bugs that affects most students are never fixed (see the Nspire bugs that have been existing for years)

If HP had as many people working on HP Prime firmware testing as TI does, then the HP Prime would be bug free since the first public firmware. Alas, they only have three or four people.

We have posted a hands-on review of the TI-84 Plus CE here : https://tiplanet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=16086 :)

Hi Adriweb, I just read the review and it's epic. Thanks to those who worked on it :)

Also you can use to change the image size, but I don't think you can use a size above 1024 KB (you can click the image to expand it, though). http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Bulletin_board_code

Also, glad to see TI-Connect CE 5.0 come out. Does it work with the regular 83+ that lacks an USB link port by the way? I was unsure because TI-Planet specifies TI-83 Plus.Fr in parenthese, but it seemed unclear if it also included the original 83+ and 83+SE (yes, there was a TI-83 Plus Silver Edition).

Thanks DJ Omnimaga.

TI-Connect CE does only support USB calculators.
It means it supports the TI-83 Plus.fr USB, which is a TI-84+SE - thus the parentheses.

Ah right, and now it just messed up my file extension associations D:. I liked being able to send to TI device in original TI-Connect by right clicking files. Oh well, I'll get used to this change I guess. I hope they don't stop providing the original on their site in the near future.

Dream of Omnimaga

Yeah I am not confident that it will be. TI might not see it as necessary to fix bugs that don't impact educational use of the calc.

Adriweb

He meant IDA, and it's much more expansive (and not easily buyable) than $80.
There are free "old" versions, though.

Aren't there also other free alternatives including some by the TI community (unless that's what you meant by "old" versions)? I recall that DWedit had a disassembler and I would be surprised if nobody else in the calc scene ever made one that can disassemble any Z80 code.
