Title: Pac-Man [TI84+CE]
Post by: MateoConLechuga on September 08, 2016, 02:31:29 AM
I got bored today so I optimized and cleaned up the code some; and added in a so called "Hacked Version", where you can play on a different map rather than the original one. This should be a nice change to the hum drum of daily life. Simply press [5] on the home menu with the "insert coin" message to enable the new map. It will reset once you exit the game. Amaze all your friends with your awesome hacking skills :P

Thats a really good looking clone. What algorithm does it use for the ghosts?

It uses the same algorithm as the original. This is just an old project of mine from like a year ago that I felt like updating.

Awesome to see an update to this. :)  I wonder if a level editor or a random symetrical map generator would be a good addition?

On a side note, you should attach the new download link to the first post, unless it wasn't approved yet O.O

I assume there's still no mode which makes Pac-Man and the ghosts move 8 pixels at a time at max frame rate? :P

It would be more for very skilled players and those who wants to do speedruns or something. :P

Agreed. I know someone who'd like that. We did Pac-Man CE tournaments together in middle school.

I wonder if you finally fixed the glitch I mentioned to you @MateoConLechuga ? The one where Pac-Man never actually eats the last pill?

That's cool actually O.O. Even in hi school in 2001-03 I never saw any calc tournament here. All I saw were a few people playing ZTetris using linked multiplayer and that's it.
