In 2011 I started programming my TI-83+ in BASIC (yes 83+, I didn't get the 84+SE for some bizarre reason), both pure and soon after hybrid. In 2012 I branched out to computer programming, and I discovered Axe. I think I learned z80 assembly in late 2013, but I'm not sure.

Yeah I use 4 separate Pt-On commands per tile.

I was originally doing 8 per tile and filling the entire tile with color, but that ended up being too slow
to be playable. I also found a way using 5 Pt-On's that let me do fully-filled 11x11 tiles, but I still
wanted the tiles to be bigger (and it was still a bit too slow). On the bright side, it made the method
for displaying the cursor an easy choice, so I didn't have to think too hard about how to do that. It's
just another 4 Pt-On(s, but with a different point type.

I still have to re-position the UI elements (the score bar is missing and the text is on top of the game),
but TI-84+CE Pure BASIC Bejeweled coming soon.

"But what about colorblind people? They're all the same shape!"
Worry not, I'm going to include a second color-blind mode executable that uses different text symbols
for tiles, which you can use if you have trouble seeing color or just don't like the way the colors look.

Sorry about the breathing BTW, didn't realize it was so loud!

On a side note, @unknownloner on IRC last night mentioned something about the TI-84 Plus CE having support for 1 hardware sprite that is up to 64x64 pixels large that can contain up to 2 colors. How does it work? Is it a bit like the hardware scrolling on the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition and can that sprite be moved anywhere on the screen with zero speed drop, regardless of its size? Or does it work like Atari 2600 sprites?
This is incorrect. It was originally believed that the lcd hardware cursor could be used for this purpose, but through much research into it for the creation of CEmu it was determined TI messed something up and it does not work at all.

Aww that sucks :(

I don't think I've ever even connected to Omninet, much less moved to it. Did my IRC bouncer grow an AI and decide to switch IRC networks while I wasn't looking or something?

@DJ Omnimaga I've always used efnet anyhow :P

EDIT: Ayyy 200th post

Hey, thanks for the mention! I haven't really been active in any of my normal online communities recently, not quite sure why :/. I just graduated though so that's fun!
Maybe one of these days I'll get around to making another full track instead of just random bits and pieces.

Shoutout to @utz definitely for some crazy 1-bit music.
I tried to recreate part of one of his 1-bit demos in FL and it was way harder to recreate the sound of the lead than I expected (I believe he made it anyhow, correct me if I'm wrong @utz)

Yeah I really like the one you linked too. Unfortunately I think I lost the project in a computer derp, but I uploaded enough versions that I might be able to recreate it :P

Wow, it's been awhile since I've posted anything  :-\. Truth be told it's also been awhile since I've had anything worth posting! I'm trying to get back to creating stuff though, taking another stab at music specifically.

Long story short I'm trying to learn how to make drum and bass for a school project, and I'd love some feedback on what I've got so far (especially if DnB is your thing). It's kinda on the chill side.

It's just a small clip as I was only working on it a few hours tonight, but yeah lemme know what you think.

Well, it's true it's some stupid Tumblr meme.
Tumblr merely adopted the meme! I was born in it; moulded by it. I didn't hear the original "It's Your Move" song until I was already a man. By then it was nothing to me but NIGHTCORE!
