(split) CodeWalrus Minecraft Server

Talking about Minecraft, I haven't heard anything about the server that was supposed to be set up in a while...

Yeah I lost motivation and no one volunteered to provide a host for it so it's kind of dead.

To be fair, with so many servers around and not a lot of users here, it might not necessarily be that active anyway, especially that most people would prefer using different mods from each others. It would also cause server lag if hosted on CW, since we only have 1 GB of RAM.

It depends, a few mods can be fun but too many is just a pain in the ass and you end up not using them.

(Also someone else please split this conversation, I'm too lazy to do it.

If we do ever start a modded server, I suggest that we include OpenComputers. It's a super fun mod about building and programming computers.

I have a free server and can run MC on it, should be able to hold ~15 people with a few mods (~10 with a full FTB pack), willing to start it up if there's interest

Okay, update: Streetwalrus got a modpack running, and he and I are going to play with it for a while. I guess if we like it, we can send the link to it and maybe re-host the server. We use MC forge 1.7.10 by the way.

Eh, not when you used advanced command block things like my friend and I do. We have a whole money system that displays on the scoreboard, which can be turned into the amount of xp you have...
