You can also do some fancy pixels flying around :) And a message that says "You win" (or: "The game" and then a 4x3 trollface)

The trick I found to make sure that a game is hard enough (unless you're really skilled) is to make the game about 4 times slower then try to beat it that way. If you have an hard time on your first few tries then it might be hard enough. It can be overkill in some cases, though, so it's not always the ideal solution, but it speeds up development and testing. :P

As for when you win I am unsure. you could always make the game scroll a banner of text through the screen or even just GG (which stands for good game in online games)
I think I will make it so it speeds up allot instead of randoming speeds because with the flashing screen you can't really tell :P

Ooo... can anyone make a 4x3 trollface

Considering I had a very hard time making a trollface for a 24x24 walrus, I can't see how a 4x3 trollface will be possible... >.<

It would be just a bunch of pixels... like most things on a computerscreen actually
u/alexgt May 20, 2015, 07:46:52 PM
Lol, it could say YOU WIN! makes screen go crazy and makes you play :P. Contest ends in 11 days O.O.
u/Dream of Omnimaga May 21, 2015, 05:39:02 AM
Just "WIN!" would be enough I think :P
u/Duke "Tape" Eiyeron May 21, 2015, 04:45:55 PM
"You sucessfully win The Game!" And don't allow the user to skip. :p
u/Snektron May 21, 2015, 05:42:39 PM
Quite ironic... They win the game, and right after that they lose THE game :P

Yeah I think that I will stick to winning the game (All the friends that I made play it couldn't get past the first level O.O then again they just played for 5 min :P)

You distributed the entry before the deadline? O.O

Kidding aside, if it didn't leave your calc and the calc didn't leave your eyes while they were playing, then it's fine :P. It's more if you put it online for download or if you distribute the game to other calcs at school that it would be a problem. :P
u/alexgt May 25, 2015, 07:31:29 PM
Well it did leave my eyesight but the he was really addicted to it ad we were at school nowhere near computers so it is fine I think. I wanted to have some 3rd party input on the gameplay :).
u/Dream of Omnimaga May 27, 2015, 09:17:11 PM
Aah OK that's fine then. :P
u/Unicorn May 28, 2015, 04:43:35 AM

Well at least he didn't do like many other kids and expect Nintendo 64 quality (or better) graphics on the calculator. :P
u/Unicorn May 28, 2015, 06:52:43 AM
Well I had given him DCS and pheonix so he knew what to expect. He really didn't expect games anyways. :P
