I've started working on the 83+ in 2010 and joined programmign forums in 2011 ^^
I'm studying technical informatics, but actually this year I'm working in a company, working on web design and augmented reality ^^

Hmmm so you're already a few years in this.
Aaah okey a friend of mine does exactly the same (except for the augmented reality).
Do you have a gap year or are you doing an internship?

What might be worth looking at is replacing the fuse, i had to do that once on my 89 (accidentally blew the fuse by putting like 1 amp / 6V in wrong polarity on it........)

Hmmm i'll give it a look! thank you! I'll let you know how it works out!

Hmmm okay, I'm also going to look at the other topics ofcourse.
Plus even though I don't know so much of it I like to read about it so :)

Yea I actually don't really know what happend to it, but I have it at home and still need to open it and try to fix it. Just a little project :)
But I worke with the 84+ a lot and it worked really fine, but I think I can get more out of the Nspire CX CAS.
I'm going to try and fix the 84+ fast so I can start my programming again ^^

And what do you do exactly p2 ?
Studying, working or is this a hobby?

Welcome to the site @kevin1d :D
astrophysics, baah, totally not my stuff  :ninja:
But we got some other physists (is that the right word?) around ;)

Also the nSphire CX CA is really a nice one (I got the same one even tho I mostly use my monochrome ones).
You should give nDoom a try, it works pretty good with the trackpad ;)
But just so you know in advance: It's pretty much normal the TI Connect software only works 50% of the time, dont panic ;)

are you also into programming or interested in it? :)

Have a Walrus
:walrii:

Well I am interested in programming but I never put enough time in it to last. So now I am more willing to learn it again.
I'm going to download nDoom right now and yeaa I knew the software wouldn't always work. ;)

I used to have a TI-84 Plus but it's broken -.-

But I also guessed this is a forum where I can just have a chat on different topics then the weather and so. ;)

Heey everyone!

Sooo I am a Civil Engineering student and just bought the TI-Nspire CX CAS.
I am currently studying mathematics and civil engineering (construction).
In my spare time I try to solve equations and I phylosophate with a group (every thursday).
I am also really interested in Astrophysica, Quantum mechanics and economics.

Currently I am not familiar with programming. A lot of my friends do program but I just like to look ^^

So I am really busy with everything at the same time actually, but it works out fine :)
