Jokeriske

Heya,

for the people who don't know me , i'm jokeriske aka barrisov or Joris or what ever you like to call me (no hate pl0x) and i like to be creative in my free time.

i'm really not good at it but yeah i just do it because i like to :)

i've made this in Blender, i don't know if there is a CW font, but i modelled this by hand, next step is to make a 3D walrus :)

when ever i make something new i will update it here :)

Final result :

A 3D logo would be cool actually. I think what would be even nicer, though, is if you preserved the blue/green outlines and the white and made the green so that it goes a bit outside, for an even bigger 3D effect.

i coulden't add the colors to it, it will be my next update, but what do you think? i've added a new version in the topic

Dream of Omnimaga

I like it. If you could be able to add the outlines it would probably be even better, but of course it depends if you can add the bump effect and extra colors. :)

Maybe you could post the blender data later to see if tr1p1ea can render it in solidFRAME and see how fast his calculator can render it. :P

That looks pretty good. Nice job :)

Jokeriske

yeah but the problem is i will have to redo it all for the colors, i really suck at texturing in blender :P

Dream of Omnimaga

Wait, why would you need to redo it from scratch? Is it because of how it was made that makes it impossible to append more polygons in the middle or something?

Looks nice! I don't know what you used but cycles works allot better for lighting and also you can make the background transparent so you can use it on top of other pictures.

How long have you been using blender?

By the way, this is what I meant by bump/relief:

But of course I did not use any 3D modeling software and my image is actually 2D. I just copied multiple layers, applied gradients and stuff. But you get the idea

Looks nice DJ! When I get back from school I think I will try to model something ;)

EDIT: also @Jokeriske you can use UV Unwrap to make texturing much easier!

I wonder if the 3D :walrii: could be added as the dot? It might be wise to polish the walrus further, though, so it blends well with the rest.

Yeah i know but it keeps glitching, but thanks! :D

alexgt

Are you on the latest version of Blender? What does it look like when you do render with UV unwrapping?

when i unwrap it, the texture adds on every face, so on every face there will be the codewalrus logo
