Title: Tie-breaker poll (January 2017 Monthly CW Project Award)
Post by: Dream of Omnimaga on February 14, 2017, 08:03:20 AM
So it looks like for the third time since the Monthly CW Project Award was instated, we have another tie, this time with Sorcery of Uvutu and Age of CEmpire I:

(83+/84+/CSE) Sorcery of Uvutu (https://codewalr.us/778/50710)
(84+CE) Age of CEmpires I (https://codewalr.us/1812/50292)

To determine the winner for January 2017, we are running a second poll, as those two entries got 8 votes. This poll will run until February 17th 2017, 3 AM GMT-5 (9 AM in France), so hurry and vote now. :3=

I can see where this is heading (changed my vote from last time).

If only AOE I were to be a building priest smash game. I have looked into the logistics of this, and it looks impossible with the current priest sprites. If there is any capable pixel artist willing to make sprites of angry priests, looking at the user, and waving their fists in anger, I would be willing to make such a game.

Another tie? (if that happens we'll probably just reset the votes then put the poll in sudden death mode while at least one staff is around to monitor voting (so that he can kill the poll immediately after 1 person votes) :P

Another tie?

No, just my fears about the feasilbility of an AOE game on a calc, and my adoration for the graphics of Uvutu.

Wow, thanks everyone! I'm surprised that my project made it this far with many other great projects (Oiram, AOCE, etc), and that now I'm breaking a tie with one of them. I suspect that my monochrome porting efforts have something to do with that, but nonetheless I'm happy.
So, @PT_ may the best project win.

I think it's more because it's unusual for a game to use 1 or I :P

Good luck people :D
