Hi
Can anyone explain to me (maybe
@Juju ??) how to go 'https' on my website pls?
A brief explanation is fine
Thanks.
Depends what you use to host your website, but we use this thing. https://letsencrypt.org/getting-started/
TI-Planet, Cemetech and ticalc.org also use the automated Let's Encrypt CA to obtain certificates trusted by clients. And we all configure our Web servers to listen for TLS connections on TCP port 443, presenting the server certificate obtained from Let's Encrypt to clients.
I knew CW used LetsVerify, I kinda looked at this before, didnt know about that port thing though - is that essential
*edit
i mean LetsEncrypt

HTTP runs on port 80, HTTPS on port 443. In any case, you have to get a certificate from Let's Encrypt and configure your web server to use it.
Got a certificate installed now just gotta wait the 24h >:D
thanks guys.
Yay. My site now redirects to https by default. It feels cool, lol
