It may not be broken if you let it dry very well before turning it on again. It's definitely not a recommended way to clean your laptop though.

Ahh, good old LTT. I remember that one. There was another one where he "accidentally" left a laptop Dell loaned him out in the rain.

Corrosion wouldn't be an issue if you catch it within a day or two.

All you have to do is do what I did when I showered with my first iPod(I was 8 :P). Stuff it in an underwear drawer for 2 years. It'll work. Or, as some say, you can leave it in a bag of rice for at least a week.
