Title: HP Prime wave, sky and flying walrus animation

This background could be used in a future game, and yes it would involve :walrii: . It runs at 40 FPS approximately. Perhaps catching them if I figure out how to use the mouse command. Otherwise this could just be an animation. Here is the code by the way, but it's not commented:

It's still random at 40 FPS. I just lowered the GIF frame rate so that it fits on img.ourl.ca. I didn't implement flying yet (although the wings already flap)

Yup. My idea is to click the walriis to score points, but eventually I wanted my game so that you must click the right colored walrus depending of what color is shown at the to of the screen. This is why I removed shading/relief from the Walrii sprites, so that it's easier to replace the color (by making the walrii body transparent and drawing him over a color background, then redrawing it elsewhere with the background being transparent instead. Differently-colored walruses will most likely be pre-rendered, though, for speed reasons.

No problem :) and that would be cool. Hopefully I don't need to get help, though. I'll most likely do a pixel test to see if I am clicking on something else than #00FF00 (I use three buffers including the LCD). In the future I want to test drag and dropping, though.

Did not think of that be careful though GETPIX() returns an integer and not RGB values from my tests I don't know why but it does :-\

Would you keep the game at the speed of the gif?

Also I suggest that you have 10 :walrii:s and they have physics like my air hockey game but don't slow down, then you would have to get them before the time ran out.

As for game speed it would obviously be slower with less walruses at a time. I probably will just have them flying in one or two directions, bounce around the screen (like when you type /walrii in WalrusIRC) or perhaps move randomly so that I can keep the game as smooth as possible.

An idea I had as well was to allow the player to grab walruses and move them into colored spots on the screen. That might be complicated to implement, though.

Honestly, if someone gets offended at such game, then maybe he takes CodeWalrus way too seriously. >.<  (or he's part of the PETA himself and was involved in the Racoon Mario controversy)

Besides, First Fantasy has a very rare enemy encounter with Walrii where it's possible to attack him (although it causes like 0-2 damage) and we have yet to receive a Cease and Desist letter. So yeah I don't think we should have issues with a Walrii catching game. :P

Maybe make some animation when you click them, where their eyes change to something like ^^ and they flap their flippers? That would be cool :D
