Lol actually bots are now manually registered and I heard that there are even people paid to spam forums, so imagine if we got a member that looked legit all along but then started advertising their site or products non-stop on behalf of a big company

We had members that sounded like bots before

(mostly ones from other countries or older members who have a different writing style). Also some members tend to join with questionable nicknames so it's hard to figure out at first if they're real or not.

Well, when you first joined it was a bit suspicious when you first brought up the 9/11 and moon landing conspiracy theories in the shoutbox so I thought you wanted to troll and included a questionable/suggestive nickname in the mix, but then I realized you were here for legitimate contributions
