I am unable to join #CodeWalrus right now, because the channel limit is set too low. Juju tried manually increasing it, but the bots keep reverting his changes to +l 34 and even deopped him in the process.
Would it be possible to just remove the limit altogether for now? It's not like the TI community is still under attack, after all, and we could just set the limit again if bot spam becomes a problem. Or we could just set a limit depending of time of the day, such as between 12 AM and 7 AM when ops are less likely to be around to counter spam.
Yeah, guess there's a bug with the bots, maybe they still report the wrong number of users in the channel after a good netsplit like EFNet likes to do once in a while. I'll check for removing the feature that sets +l for now untilit works again. Also that was me who deopped myself :P
Yeah I think that's the issue. It might be better to disable that feature right now because many people might be unable to join (we normally have 42-49 user connections, yet the limit is 34 right now, meaning about 15 people would be unable to join)
And by now I mean right now, not in three weeks
@Juju :P
Actually, that's
@Streetwalrus that set that thing up and I don't really know how he set that up... Anyway it seems to work now. So far.
EDIT: That should work now. Street messed up in the rules for some reason.
What was the issue actually? (eg which rule he had wrongly enabled)

Oh really ? Sorry about that. Did you re enable the script ?
The limit is still a bit too close for comfort, though. Earlier it was 48, even though the channel has 44 users for a long while.
