Thank you! It'd be great if you could get it done over the weekend, I'll write something up shortly and send it you.

Anybody else wants to? The more the better ^.^

TiLp is a linking program, you can use it to run the game on an actual calculator, but I think you might mean TilEm instead. You can indeed install that if you want an emulator that works natively on Linux. Wabbitemu works very well on Wine though.

Aah thank you :)
I was thinking about either using TiLP to transfer it to my calc (but the isntallation took hours the lasst time) or use WabbitEmu.
I didn't know about TilEm :D

Did TilEm have an option to change the controls? I might use that instead

On a side note, will the game run on WabbitEmu? Because I don't like TilEm (some keypad keys aren't even mapped to the computer keyboard and there's no way to change the keyboard shortcuts for the keypad). There's also no keymap documentation available anywhere, from what I could see. I tried pressing every single key on my computer keyboard one by oneto see which one was MODE, to no avail.

Anyway so far during my TilEm run, I have to say that enemies in the forest eventually attacks way too fast. By the time you reach LV 6, some attack like 4 times per turn.

Also would it be possible to make the active gauge move faster? Because it seems to slow down the pace of battles drastically compared to the first two games. If this makes enemiees faster then you could just slow them down a bit when it's your turn I guess.

edit: Some of the enemies in the glove cavern are still impossible to beat in succession (as in, if you go from the water pond to the glove chest, then try to refill your HP back at the pond afterwards then it's next to impossible unless you're lucky. Enemies should not attack more than once per turn at this point in the game IMHO. I have two speed upgrades and some still attack twice.

Also, sometimes in battle the controls stop working. For example, pressing up to access the magic menu will do nothing 50% of the time, usually when your HP is low, leaving you vulnerable to attacks in the process.

Sorry, as I don't even know what exactly is triggering the wabbitemu bug, no. The wabbitemu bug was also present for reuben2, I found that TI-83+SE roms don't trigger it that much. (I actually develop in wabbitemu)

What do you mean? You just have to quickly attack once you are able to! Some enemies in the forest are indeed a bit quicker at attacking than you, though
EDIT: examining the code, there may actually be a bug causing this, hang on, trying to wrap my mind around my code :P

You are able to learn faster attacks in the city

Which cavern do you mean? (as in, where is the entrance located) (also this may be related to the other "enemies are too quick" bug)

On a real calculator or on TILEM? The thing is.......it uses basically the same code as the move engine and this bug never occured to me so far...

Thanks a lot for testing!

I like the name change. :)

As for enemies attacking 4 times it's when the bar is filling up. I don't even have the chance to attack lol.

Thankfully it doesn't happen often and goes away with the speed upgrades, though.

Hey, so I still need some help with map-making....what I basically need help with currently, more specifically two dungeons.
I don't want to give out a lot of info to not spoil too much info, if you are interested in helping with map-making please just PM me/reply/poke me on IRC or something.....thanks!

Hopefully someone can help you, although if I was you I would avoid relying 100% on help from other people, although it's good if you get some. In such small community, people often make the mistake of making the future of their projects entirely dependent on external help, only to be disappointed later.  Also make sure that the dungeons have a reasonable amount of save points, especially since there's no cure magic inside battles and that extra bottles are very hard to find (I only got one in my entire run so far)

as long is it can be done online or with simple painting programs or stuff like that, I can still help out of cause :)
