Nah. We can do custom domain names but not the extension. So for example I could do walrus.space, dj.space (would most likely be ultra expensive), codewalrus.space, dark.space, etc.

probably because they can't lay country claims on it

Aren't 2-letter domains supposed to be possible? IIRC we can get them with other extensions but they are much more expensive.

Though short domains are almost always bought like after a month the tld has gone public, and then sold for a ridiculous high price
